I always read all the different ways that people budget for their trips to Disney. I have not tried the Ebay your way yet but have my own unique way to save. I am currently doing the bring your lunch to work 2 to 3 times per week and save $10 to $15, savings from difference between coupon and if you would've paid full price for groceries and also saving whatever change I have at the end of the week. However, this one is my favorite to date. I live in a state where gaming is allowed. I am not a big gambler but we occasionally do this for enjoyment. I also work across the street from a casino and we do frequent the buffet for lunch and I will spend a little money in there (I don't gamble more than $100 to $125 a year). Due to the fact that I have signed up for their rewards program I get these monthly reward announcements that come with 2 monthly coupons to collect $5.00 in cash each coupon. As I had a Royal Carribbean cruise set for 5/1/04, I haven't gambled at all so that I could save my money for the cruise, but I have gone to cashin on those reward dollars from the casino and have saved $20 from the past two months from them and have two more coupons for same for another $10 this month.
It seems sort of tacky to say thanks to the casino for helping me save for my next Disney trip without spending a cent gambling but thanks anyway. Really makes me laugh that I am actually able to do this.
