We are doing 4 days at WDW and 4 days on the Wonder, there are 5 of us going me DH, DD, DS , DD. I was thinking about $2000 (food, excursions, tips, and souvineers) Do you think this is enough or should I shoot for $2500. I want to pay everything in cash, don't want to use the credit card.

First of all, will you be on the Nov 14th Wonder?????????? That's what we'll be on.

Not knowing which excursions you have planned, it's hard to say.

You're looking at $220 at least for tips (for all 5) on the 4 night cruise. Food won't cost you anything on the ship, except for maybe a night at Palo (adult only) which is $10 per person (or more if you wish).

You might need to budget food costs for when you're off the ship (in WDW or on excursions). For our Nassau excursion I'll be taking sandwiches which I'll get from roomservice on the ship (only cost will be the room service tip). On Castaway Cay, your food is included.

Don't know what you're budgeting for just souvenirs. We set a per person limit for each of us for souvenirs so that we don't totally shoot the budget out of the water.

What about spa appointments (like massages)?
Also, what about bar/lounge costs (non-alcoholic and alcoholic)?

As far as the cash, I'd highly recommend traveler's cheques or their special debit card. You can then use that to pay at Guest Services.

Jeez... I guess I've over-budgeted... I've got about $2500 put aside for just DW and I and we're doing the silver plan at WDW too so most of the meals will already be paid for..

Oh well - more spa money

Ah, but Stuart how much of that $$$ are you going to spend on Villains pins????

Last year we went NUTS (lots of Stitch pins) and between the three of us spent nearly $800 on pins!!!
