Cash question

We will be spending a week in Universal next spring. It's our first time at universal, so not sure how to compare the cost of eating and general cash requirements. It doesn't help that I can't for the life of me recall how much cash I took on our last trip to Disney 2 years ago.

Can anyone offer some suggestions?

I always figure on about $100.00 USD (2 adults, 2 children) a day, now this year I will have to raise it as DS turned 3 and will have to pay for him at the character meals. We usually let the kids pick out one big souvenier from the parks then we hit the outlet malls. We also do put somethings on our credit card as we do keep one in US funds. These numbers are for Disney and from what I understand Universal is a little less expensive, the folks down on the universal board are a big help.
