Cash price for 2 bedroom HH?

We will be at HH for 5 nights in August (Sunday-Friday). After driving all the way from Pgh, we would really like 6 nights at HH. MS gave me a cash price of $308 for a 2 bedroom for Saturday night.

Is this a good rate & is it really worth it? Never have been to HH before so suggestions welcome.

We paid cash through MS for a Friday night two years ago at HH for a two bedroom and that's just about the price we got too, if I remember right. I believe they said it was a 25% discount.

I just looked at travelocity and they have a two bedroom listed at $410 for check-in on Sat. Aug. 7th for one night.

In our opinion, it was worth it to stay the extra night on cash since we had other plans for the rest of our points. One of these years, I'd like to stay longer than the 6 nights we're usually there.

I've seen some really low rates for 2BR at HH...but they were generally off season (not June, July or August).

I just checked some October dates online (Expedia)...and the 2BR is $245. For a Saturday night in August...$405.

A question about cash ressies through MS...can they be cancelled? If so, what is the policy?

After spending a week at WDW last week...I'm ready for a trip to HH! I need some relaxation.

kweaver--- The price we paid for a 2 bedroom was $303 plus tax for Friday night 7-19-02. This was with the member discount through MS.

I've seen the rates for October at $245 for a 2 bdrm also. That's a great time to go too! If we lived closer, we'd definitely take advantage of that, but with school in session then....

I'm also not sure if the member discount is always available, but it never hurts to ask.

I can't help with the cancellation policy on cash ressies through MS either.

I believe it is 'cancel five days in advance'. I should know this as I just booked something recently and had the policy quoted to me, but I'm not sure if I am remembering correctly.

We're staying at HH on cash this weekend -- added two nights on to the BEGINNING of our trip, to accommodate a business meeting for DH.

Anyhow, the cancellation policy IS that you must cancel five days in advance to avoid being charged. Additionally, they do not charge your credit card in advance, like CRO does. The card is just used to guarantee the reservation.

BTW, we were able to add these two nights on just a few weeks ago, and were even able to secure a GV here for our guests for the weekend!

Can I be nosey...when in August are you going? I needed a studio for 1 weeknight (the 12th) and MS had no points no cash options. CRO is charging me $302.50 including tax but again, that's a studio!
