Cash nights at DVC

Anyone ever had success at getting a cash night at Hilton Head's DVC resort in the summer? Trying to figure out if that will be a possibility if waitlist doesn't come through.

Can’t speak for HH directly, but if you are able go ahead and call and try to book the cash stay now. Assuming you are allowed to book cash at HH (I’ve only tried for WDW resorts) you will have better luck now than waiting. You only have to pay the first night. If waitlist comes through then you can cancel and get your deposit back (you have to cancel 5 days prior to check-in).
