Cash and Points ressie check in twice?

I have a linked cash and points reservation through MS.

Do I have to check in twice?
When will I have to pay the cash portion of my trip (it is at the end of the points stay).
We are adding the dining plan. Will it include the cash stay too?

No. That only happens if you don't book the cash portion through MS.

Not sure. I think it is at the end of the stay, but it might be at check in. Hoing someone else will know for sure.

Yes. When you book and link cash stays through MS, it is the same as one continuous points stay. Your cleaning schedule will also be the same as if you had booked the entire stay with points.

I believe you pay at check-in. I've done a member cash/points combo a couple of times and you will get keys and parking pass for the entire stay, so you don't have to check-in again.

We did a cash & points stay last december and we did not have to check out and check back in. We booked it all through MS and it was treated just like an all points stay. We paid the cash due at check-in but the CM said "Oh, you want to pay it now?" so I'm thinking it doesn't matter when you pay it. They have your credit card information so maybe that's why? Have a great trip.

DH and I stayed in a 1-BR at OKW with member discount cash reservations. We paid at check-in. We did not use points, though.
