I think Casey is going to take the stand after lunch. Baez asked for all the attorneys to approach and talk to the judge. HHJP does not like to waste a minute of the day and I'll bet Baez asked him for an early lunch so that the DT can prep Casey for her testimony. I can't imagine another reason the judge would recess for lunch 30 minutes early. What do you guys think?

If you ask me, Casey learned how to wrap and bury a body thanks to the dead family pets. She was repeating what she saw her parents do. You learn by example, right?

And I'm sure that, in burying the pets, shallow graves were dug. Again ... learning by example.

Someone with a clue would know that if you want to hide a body, you better dig a deep hole! Casey learned how to bury a pet body and she used the same techniques for a human body.

And I loved Linda's "Did you put duct tape on the pets faces?" I almost spit my tea out!

Baez asked who was in charge of burying the family pets. Isn't it usually the PARENTS? Or at the very least, adult family members? Any parent who made their kids do it would be considered abusive!

That's exactly what I was thinking during that. Who else was going to do it? My husband always buries ours.

That's the speculation on InSession. This thread is going to go fast!

Judge Alex feels the defense will spend lunch discussing with Casey whether or not she will testify. He said he doubts they have made their mind up at this point and that they honestly don't know themselves yet.

this was a terrible idea for the defense. One of the worst ideas for this case. All it showed was that Casey knew how the family pets were buried. It also brings in duct tape that the defense swear was placed there by Roy Kronk

I seriously think they are trying to go for ineffective counsel. Baez HANDED the prosecution exactly what you said, Casey learned how to wrap Caylee from how the pets were wrapped and buried.

In think the biggest thing this will come down to is motive. Will the jury believe this was an accident and Casey buried Caylee the way she grew up seeing her pets buried?

Or has the state shown enough evidence that she did this with intent to get rid of Caylee, and had no thought for her to give her another burial?

Except for the part about it being over the mouth. I think the prosecution addressed that with their specific questions to Cindy about not putting the tape over the pets' mouth, etc.

And Krystal Holloway, she came across to me as not very credible, especially since she sold her story to the Nat Enquirer, and her behavior on the stand was really odd and unlikeable to me. Even if they had an affair she could be a women scorned. And trying to state that GA meant that he knew it was an accident I think totally backfired on the Defense, it is obvious he meant he was thinking possibly Casey was involved in an accidental death and it was not something he knew as fact, just thought this was what he thought probably happened. Of course you would still continue to look for your GD as he did.
