Gosh, its so painful to watch George and Cindy on the witness stand! I really hope they can "start over" after this trial, move away from the Orlando area at least and begin the heal the best they can.

As for Jose...what a heartless and slimey man! I'm ready for him to just go..

In true sociopath fashion, KC can not relatr to others suffering. Poor Caylee. No telling what she went through.

How do you sit and watch your father break down that way and not be affected. It is scary to know that she has been evaluated NUMEROUS times and found to be competent. This, folks, I suggest, is what evil looks like.

Given the circumstances that her claim is that it was an accidental death--even if GA were "covering"--him breaking down and crying over the loss...

She doesn't have pity or remorse or sadness or anything but ANGER on her face. HE didn't even kill Caylee per her own defense team. He simply "hid" it and she cannot even feel sadness over the loss.


Beyond my comprehension.

I guess I am just amazed that a judge can reserve his ruling all the way up to a verdict.

But I do think it is cool that if the verdict comes back not-guilty, he can then declare a mistrial, and Casey would have to be tried again, right?

This is also in lieu of the Florida judge on a certain case right now that has not been ruled on. The judge asked to be kept informed if a decision has been rendered .I think he is waiting to see if there is a ruling first before making any decision

Judge Alex said it really needs to be said in the courtroom by someone in the Anthony family.

He said he highly doubts those words have ever been uttered even in private in the Anthony home. If he says those words and falls into Cindy's arms after and the jury sees it, it will sway the jury. They will see it as parents that have tried hard to defend their daughter but in the end, they believe she did it.

This might be a stupid question, but why was Casey using a gas can to fill her car with gas? Why not just go to the gas station!?

Baffled. I've never used a gas can to put gas in my car. I can see if your car ran out of gas ... but it sounds like she used the gas can on a regular basis.

I wonder if she was going to burn Caylee's body so it would never turn up?

I could never be a defense attorney and defend someone like Casey and be able to do that to someone like George and then sleep at night. No way!

For Casey to sit there with no emotion is not helping her at all either. If I was on the jury you better bet I would notice that!

No, unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. He can declare a mistrial if she is found guilty, but I believe prior to the decision being read into the record. If she's acquitted, a mistrial is a moot point.

Seriously the saddest thing I have ever watched.

I agree with the poster who said what we feel is human empathy, something ICA totally does not have.

As to her competency, that doesn't mean she's not deficient in some way but only that she is able to participate in her defense and she understands the charges against her. I'd love to know what else the psychologists/psychiatrist felt...

Thinking like the defense:

I think to show that George is the only one with knowledge of how to use duct tape, therefore he's the one who put the duct tape on Caylee, thereby proving that he helped Casey cover up Caylee's accidental drowning....

Duct tape isn't rocket science. High schoolers make prom dresses out of them every year. Casey was plenty capable to use duct tape. No different than any other tape except it's strength and versatility. If that was what Baez was trying to do...kind of pathetic as googling how to use a shovel.

And does the court reporter type things like "GA broke down on stand"?

She had no money because she didn't really have a job. She was stealing the gas from her father's lawn mower gas cans to fill up her car.
