THs talking about GAs responses to the questions about River. It does seem there must have been more to it than GA admits. Why did he go to her house?? My husband better not be doing such a thing !!

Seriously. Why wait? I think that he called, nothing came of it, so he went back later to look again, since she hadn't been found. :confused3 Why wait, and risk having someone else find her? I'm so confused about what they're claiming and where they're going with this.

River Cruz on now (a recorded interview)...yeah, she'll make a good witness. NOT. Plus, people who use different names kind of screw up their credibility. People who use a name like "River Cruz" make themselves look like a stripper.
Especially since you then risk someone else finding it and getting the money.

If River Cruz/Krystal was giving George thousands of dollars, where did she get the money from? What is her job/career? Because she/her background) seems a little sketchy to be holding a "normal" job.

HLN is saying that George's hesitation on the witness stand, and asking to hear the question again, shows he was buying time to think or come up with a lie. IDK -- what do you all think about that?

They're asking if a married man, who is mourning his dead grandchild, goes to a single woman's house in the afternoon to console her. They're all feeling that George was insincere on the stand.

I did not believe George Anthony today. He seemed like he was covering up an affair of some sort. I didn't believe his story about why he visited that woman.

What was the point of Cindy and Lee's testimony? How was that helpful to their case?

Fay hit August 18th

I did an approximate when it would hit Orlando. I think it hit the keys on the 18th. Anyway, it's more important that he's credible enough to say he didn't go into the woods and it was dry then.

So far what he says is believable. He might have messed up on the bag statement, but it's a mistake I could have made too.

I am seeing that if you are not a liar then the DT won't call you to the stand. They may be able to make the point to the jury that this is an impressive collection of liars!

Unfortunately for KC the investigative and forensic witnesses for the state sure were credible.

If anything, the Kronk Testimony has been of minor import so far. No "Real" points scored by anyone. The Defense better figure out something new to say or they are going to get killed on re-direct.

All the Prosecution has to say is

"Did you move the body"

"Did you call the Police"

everything else the defense has said means diddly.

I think it would be foolish of anyone to believe EVERY word that comes out of any of the Anthony family. I think George, Cindy and Lee have all told the truth at different points and they have peppered that truth with lies. I think Casey has lied the majority of the time and has occasionally peppered the lies with a tiny bit of truth. But no way would I believe all of them all of the time.

His admitting to an affair was the reasonable doubt the jury needed

That he didn't makes me believe him. I was a little put off about the InSession group - a man can't have a female friend? It was short lived during the search for Caylee -

Did you say it was a skull? Why did he deny that he said it was a skull?? He called in that he saw a skull. Why is he skirting around this??

Kronk is beginning to look a bit like the dude JB said he is.

I know - why wait? The defense wants to say that he waited because he moved the body.

Here's what I think happened: he saw something. Wasn't sure what it was. Called it in. LE did nothing. Caylee's disappearance was big local news. The more he thought about it, the more he thought it could be her. The comment about winning the lottery? He knew about the reward and was confident what he saw was Caylee - maybe too confident, but looking back now it looks like he had insider info. Just lucky IMO.

I've predicted things before. Just dumb luck. ;)

Married man going to another woman's house - usually a bad call. If you didn't have sex it doesn't matter because everyone will think you did.

What a mess this whole thing ended up being. A lot of well-meaning people got involved in the search for Caylee, but all we are hearing about are the crazies.

But how would his admitting to an affair give the jury reasonable doubt as to whether or not Casey killed Caylee?

It would give credibility to the girlfriends claim he "choked ICA" and he said "it was a mistake that snowballed out of control" which is the whole defense

:confused3

This is why I like the prosecution's case better - they presented evidence in a clear concise way. They left out things that weren't needed so as not to clutter up the case. They called a few too many of Casey's friends, but I understand they were trying to establish the timeline.

The defense is throwing everything out there. It's confusing. I don't think it creates "reasonable" doubt as the court defines it.

weather he had an affair or not relevant, youncould ask all those questions with out stating he had an affair. The DT wants the jury to believe that
If it were intimate he would be more open to her and confide in her.

I think men and women can be friends. But visiting her home alone multiple times is very suspicious.

I think only if you want it to be suspicious.

If he admitted to the affair, as indicated in the OS he would have been helping ICA. Bozo and team have stopped short of the abuse and this would have been the aid in reasonable doubt regarding the drowning and coverup - jmho :confused3

i am so sorry, i cant keep up...What did lee and cindy disagree on?? TIA

Cindy says she didn't tell the detectives where to look. Lee says she did - they had a conversation about it. Cindy denies the conversation.

i am so sorry, i cant keep up...What did lee and cindy disagree on?? TIA

Cindy: no, I did not have anyone search the woods.

Lee: my mom had them search....

Something to that effect.

I think hoover and Casey at a minimum implied that they were hired to search. But don't remember.

Yet we are to believe who? Cindy's credibility is going down and having back to back testimony where her statements do not match was NOT smart. Unless t once again shows a dysfunctional family. But again, dysfunction is not a murder defense.:confused3
