I firmly believe that there was a dead body in that trunk at some time. I base that on three things primarily - none of them really scientific:

1. The dog - I trust the dog.
2. The tow truck company manager because he had nothing to gain one way or the other.
3. Dr. Voss's nose - I have no doubt he knows what one smells like a dead body smells like.

I think Baez should have crafted his "story" to have the dead body in the trunk rather than fight about 8 people saying they smelled a dead body.

HA HA! I just reread my op, and realized I had a typo. I went to correct it when I realized it is a made up word that is appropriate for the defense witnesses!!! I am not going to change it. :lmao:

Haha! I didn't catch that. Yes, by all means, leave it like that!

I think JB is hoping the jurors forget what he said he'd "prove" about the drowning, abuse & George's part in covering up the "accident".. he hasn't even gotten close to any of that yet.

OK, so I have not missed it. Baez told the jury in his opening statement that he could prove that Caylee died by drowning. In the mean time, the defense has had the case for how long, and the jury still has not heard a word about drowning? I don't think he is winning points with the jury if he is forcing them to sit through all this scientific evidence, and still no story on how poor Caylee died.

Exactly! And that brings me to something I don't understand. We know that JB claims GA was holding Caylee's body after finding her in the pool. So what happened after that? What are they going to say George did with the body? Why not have him put her in the trunk to do whatever it was he did? Wouldn't she have had to be transported somehow? I doubt he would have walked down the street with her in the garbage bag. I just don't know why they are fighting the body in the trunk.

Stinky cheese!!:confused3

Was there stinky cheese in the trunk or just a box?

Even when you die, you are what you eat!

there would still be the arguement that neighbors saw Casey backing that car to the Anthony garage around that time.

Twitter posts from today:

JimLichtenstein A smart tan salon should come up with a "Casey trial special" for those who don't leave their house during the day.. #caseyanthony

I think that's why he questioned if the dog was made to search George or Cindy's car (he wasn't). "See? George could have had the body. Police wouldn't know coz they didn't check."

Thats what so stupid about the entire defense.

There were times when ICA wasn't using the car, so why not have had George put the body in the trunk? Then Kronk could have tried to steal the car - found the body and decided to leave the car and take the remains. He stole tape from the car owners home to add a dash of mystery and knowing it would be a famous case one day and seek the reward. Right?

But what is their theory of what George did with Caylee's body? Are they going to say he just walked it down the street to the woods? It seems if they are implicating George they would just say that he put her body in the trunk and then disposed of it. After all, Cindy made a point of saying, several times, that both George and Casey drove that car. So why fight the body in the trunk? :confused3

OK Velveeta cheese has so many friggin chemicals in it that it probablly takes forever to break down and make ANY smells.

Did this guy just say chloroform is found in foods we eat and soda? :scared1: Granted, not shockingly high amounts, but still. Gotta wonder how many bottles of soda you'd have to consume to od on chloroform?

those are the careless mistakes that makes the DT push for a mistrial every chance they get. Deep down they have their fingers crossed hoping they can get it granted. They want a do-over. Judge Perry asked Jose Baez last week, when was he getting to the point, Jose couldn't give him a straight forward answer.

So does a fridge filled with leftovers that are rotting have a high concentration of chloroform?
