Casey Anthony Trial Thread #3

poor caylee - her mother was so jealous of her she killed her at 2.8 years old and her grandmother loved her sooooooo much she's protecting the person who killed her :(

i know as a mother i wouldn't want to see my daughter put to death and most parents would do just about anything to help them

HOWEVER

where does one draw the line when your child murders (not accident) your only grandchild whom you clame to love above all else

i can see cindy lying to get casey life not death - hopefully the jury saw that too and disregard her testomony todya.

Yeah, but you're on this thread for the purpose of following information and opinions, as well as commenting on a court case. Totally different reason than being on myspace or fb. How many times have you gone to your facebook page in the same day? Probably nowhere near 83 times!

my cousin's wife updates her fb page more then she pees in a day. some of it is done through her phone but a lot of it is done by her desktop

want all those twitter people LOL hundreds of times a day.

After 22 years of having a daughter and all of her experience as a nurse, Cindy decided to look up acetone to see if it is dangerous? A mother doesn't know that acetone could be dangerous if swallowed? A nurse doesn't know this? She needs to search alcohol to find out if this will hurt her granddaughter? She needs to search all the individual ingredients in Purell to see if they are dangerous instead of just looking up Purell itself to see if it is dangerous?

I'm not a nurse and I don't need to research that those things are dangerous. That didn't make since to me.

I remember that email going around about Purell being dangerous to little kids who put their fingers in their mouth after application, and I searched it and immediately found an article. No need for multiple searches.

Exactly!

The only prepared defense witness to date.

This is shocking, since it goes counter to everything that is out there. Cindy has to know that this goes against her previous depositions to police. And that those depositions are publicly available. She is going to be skewered in the press.

I know that's right. Did anyone see George while she was up there. I wonder if he knew she was going to say these things. It's sad, but Cindy could serve more time for lying on the stand than Casey could for killing her daughter if she gets away with this. :sad2:

My son just came in here and said "I'll be glad when this is over so we can swim". God love him! Now I am sitting out back without a TV so please keep me up to date. ;)

So it's supposedly an entire family of people who claim to be at work, but are actually just hanging out at home with each other, while they each supposedly think the others are at work?
You know, I felt really bad for her when she was up there crying over the 911 tape but now I am left wondering if she was crying for Caylee or if she's crying because if she hadn't made that call, no one would have reported her missing and their lives could have gone back to "normal" :confused3

I'm all sorts of confused over what this family as a whole is capable of anymore.

I am not watching it right Now

What I am getting from these posts is that she says she DID make these searches and that she wasn't working and that her time cards were fudged.

If there is additional proof that she had to have been working, then she lied on the stand.

Her precise wording wil determine that though.

It is BS that she did not mention this before.[/QUOTE]

That is the main reason why I don't believe her now. Also with the stains in the trunk. The fact that she's saying this NOW makes me believe she's so full of it and she's doing this to save her daughter.

I truly cannot believe what happened. Talk about blindsided.

I think she's lying because I remember those searches were mixed with myspace log-ins.

Although, she did say previously she was looking up chlorophyll, well I just as a test started a google search, started typing chloro and chloroform comes up before chlorophyll. That could be a reasonable mistake. Just a thought.

I still think she's lying though, and I agree with the many that said they lost all sympathy for Cindy, I certainly did.

'How to make chloraform' (sic) was typed into the computer and within 20 seconds there was a Myspace entry.

My 16 y/o DD could likely access FB that many times in one day. She only checks it once or twice on most days but on days where she is bored, she could very easily open it many times a day. Doesn't seem too odd for a 22 y/o in this day and age.

But she did say she made the choloform searches. A lie if she was not home

True!!

'How to make chloraform' (sic) was typed into the computer and within 20 seconds there was a Myspace entry.

maybe cindy didn't know casey was home when she typed in a search for choloraform, got up, went to go pee and casey took that moment to go to myspace then left before cindy came back.

Had it not come out that George and Cindy do not think Casey to be innocent, I don't Cindy would have lied today. I think she is trying to do damage control.

Look at page 11 in these docs - Cindy's time card for 3/17/08 (it was a Monday, and remember she said they had meetings on Mondays so they ran later):

JMO but we are all being played big time. Their attorney says the Anthony's don't believe Casey is innocent, but don't want her to get the death penalty, and then Cindy falls on the sword today? :guilty:

They probably planned all this out back during the meeting with Baez six weeks ago.

I really wanted the whole truth about this mess to come out for Caylee's sake, but have now resigned myself to never seeing justice for her.

I mean, if no one in her entire family loved her enough to see to that, then who am I to want to fight for her? :sad1:

but, Cindy testified today that she doesn't recall ever typing in "how to make chloroform' into the search engine, only that she searched it. But not the 'how to make' part.

In yahoo, I just started typing in chloro and the second entry to come up (suggestion) was "how to make chloroform". Is this because yahoo server sees what being searched? Or did Cindy??? specifically type "how to make chloraform"?????

I'm not watching.

Cindy made the claim ICA wanted to use the computer and did, then she went back on

Yep, BUT it was misspelled 'chloraform' no auto complete!! It was typed in.

I am very curious what the Anthony family would function like if Casey was able to walk free. Would Cindy be there with open arms knowing her daughter was involved in Caylee's death? Would she be alright with allowing the murderer of her grandchild to live in her house again? Does she care that her daughter accused her husband of an unspeakable crime?

hold on - so if i go to google right now and type in

"how to make"

what will come up is "how to make chloroform?"

who believes this crap????

Deleted searches. You have to feel that someone was wanting to hide those searches. If Cindy was just checking to see if bamboo leaves were toxic to dogs, why would she delete?

Bingo! Exactly what I was thinking. She doesn't sound very computer literate, by her own omission. Didn't she just say she didn't know what her computer was doing while it was on?

Holy cow! I go to have a CT scan and I come back to this! :scared1: I'm still trying to catch up. . .but. . .but. . .I'm speechless.

Very sad but very, very true.

however, I think Cindy will never get over it if she helps her daughter walk away for this scott free!:scared1:
If Casey goes free, I think Cindy and George should change their locks. :scared1: ("Home invasion" searches? Just sayin'!)

"#JoseBaez appears to be in a marvelous mood right now."
Hopefully short-lived.

He can't wait until mid-July? Can't you say no to your child? J/K :lmao: But doesn't that sound like one of those great DIS parenting threads? :teeth:
