Where does the defense find these people?

I was wondering the same thing. Does the defense team send out letters about the case all around the country and only pick the people who agree with them? Why do they keep picking expert witnesses that live so far away and that are not familiar with Florida conditions on bugs, leaves, and decomp in high heat?

Apparently, there are expert witnesses who will testify to just about anything, for a fee.

She doesn't remember anything from her deposition. She is all over the place!

Interesting, before she couldn't render and opinion and NOW she can. I do think, though, that her saying 2 weeks so many times, not so good for the prosecution.

I kind of feel bad for her. I don't think she should have been called as a witness at all. Clearly she's been told exactly what she can say and what she shouldn't say.
