Nerd alert over here.

Predicative Statistician Over here. Been Performing the Blackest of magic for the last decade for the military and now for a supercomputing group.

From my point of view, I see things from a probable occurrence point of view. Thus the overall effect of having a dead little girl in that location would take a ton of specific events to result in her being there and in that condition. Only a person who was intimately familiar with the baby could do all the tasks that would result in the end case (dead baby in a overgrown field). Only four people would have the ability to perform all those tasks, and out of those 4, 3 can be excluded without a doubt, leaving only Casey.
Just think of all the specific activities and do the thinking for yourself.

Really good point. Only those 4 people had access to the duct tape as well. Or I guess 5 if you count Tony when he was there for the whole running out of gas thing.

I forgot this was on today. A little behind in what's going on and way too many pages for me to read back on. Last things I read were Thursday during the day.

Has Casey had the look on her face all the time? Or has she shown any emotion to the pictures?

I have a theory on what happened to this little girl. Lets ee if anyone agrees or disagrees with me.

Ok, I think that Casey was giving Caylee xanax so she would sleep so she could go out at night. Well like any medication the more you use the more tolerance your body grows. Well the xanax wasn't working quite so well anymore so she had to find another way to put her to sleep. She found a way to make chloroform. She used the chloroform to put her to sleep cause she had a date that night. She didn't leave Caylee home with mom for whatever reason but she didn't want the new boyfriend to know she was with them either. So Caylee goes to sleep, she puts her in the trunk and puts duct tape over her mouth so if she did wake up said date wouldn't hear her. I think the combination of the homemade chloroform, lack of oxygen from the duct tape and being in the trunk and the Florida heat is what killed the baby. She realizes the next morning that Caylee hasn't made a sound and goes out and discovers her dead. Casey panicks, and puts her in a trash bag so nobody will see what she's done until she starts to decompose and smell. She then puts her in a laundry bag and disposes the body and makes up the story about the nanny to cover her tracks.

What do you guys think. Close maybe?

I think anything is possible and I doubt we will ever know the truth. I just don't buy the idea that Casey was drugging Caylee on a regular basis. Caylee saw her grandparents every single day until she disappeared. If she was being drugged, I would think her grandmother the nurse or her grandfather the ex-detective would have noticed. Also, her parents were available regularly for babysitting gigs. They couldn't watch her for an entire week while Casey went on vacation but I think they could watch her most evenings when Casey went out. I just don't see the need for Casey to drug Caylee.

I don't have a clue how chloroform fits into the equation. I can't figure out why there would be a syringe and bottle with chloroform at the scene. That boggles my brain. Even Casey wouldn't be stupid enough to leave that there unless her plan was to say Zanny talked about chloroform in the past?

It's ok to disagree. That's what makes good conversation. :goodvibes
Absolutely! And that's what makes this case fascinating and SO frustrating...the not knowing. Lot's of speculations, none of them probably exactly correct. I HATE mysteries. At the end of this, I not only want her convicted, I want to know WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. And that is unlikely. Piss me off!

But tony wouldn't have been able to perform some of the other discreet tasks such as borrowing a shovel, or getting a body in and out of a trunk. He simply wasn't there.

True, I just strictly meant people with access to the tape since that is a known piece of evidence in the case. You are right though.

I know what you mean. Casey will never admit that she did anything..whether accidentally or on purpose. No one will ever know what really happened to that poor baby. :sad2:

I also can numerically rule out a stranger in this case due to the number of objects that came from the home. If those objects had been removed by a stranger, police would have received a call reporting a break in...and I guarantee other items would have been missing too.

The Items found with the body remind me of a person who is putting a child to sleep for the night...blankie and such. Again, that rules out a stranger/abduction

Maybe you should be a witness. :thumbsup2

Is Casey looking down so she doesn't burst out laughing at Bozo?

I definitely don't think Casey drugged Caylee regularly. But it has been said (by friends?) that Caylee could sleep through a party. Also, that Casey had problems getting Caylee to sleep. I wouldn't be surprised if Casey gave her "a little bit" of Xanax to help Caylee relax enough to go to sleep. She didn't need to be "drugged" per se. I think that's where Zanny the Nanny comes in. Cindy claimed it was about 1 1/2 years that Casey talked about Zanny (or was she getting that number from Casey after Caylee went missing?). Caylee was almost 3. So she would have been about 18 months old...that can be a tough age to deal with. And I honestly think that all those smiling pictures of Casey and Caylee are the easy, fun times of having a little buddy around. George and Cindy did the brunt of the childcare and child raising, but they weren't around 24/7. I think when it came down to it, and Casey needed to actually deal with Caylee, it wasn't easy.

I don't even know what the 3 major sciences are. Biology, Chemistry, Physics? Those at least are the 3 major sciences at the HS. :teeth: DS LOVED business, until he took Physics. Going to be majoring in Electrical Engineering. He even LOOKS geekier these days.

Biochemistry, huh? Sounds like fun!

Yes those are the sciences I meant :) - although, to be fair, I'm not sure if everyone else thinks of those three as the main ones. There's also the social sciences and maths. Oh I've probably offended someone now, or left someone out. Apologies if I have!

Wow...the blanket. Hadn't thought much about the blanket. Either it was at a sleeping time, and she got scooped up with the blanket to move, or it was like the sticker...a final expression of "love" (Casey style).

I deal with Refrigerator Science on Wednesday nights...throwing out the stuff that's molded since the last time garbage/trash was collected. ;)

is court out early?

went to have a shower and it's off my screen now.

oh never mind - they must have taken a break

it's back with no sound yet
