OMG! Anyone else glad they are not on the jury right now. I'm so lost with this testimony. I don't know how the jury is paying attention right now.

I have managed to follow most the scientific evidence so far pretty well, but I am kind of lost with this evidence.

Baez doesn`t help with the way he questions witnesses!!! He could lose me in a phone booth!!

Do you have the link to the above mentioned Dr. Glass analysis regarding DS comforting Casey??? I am really interested in seeing it but can't find it on her website. TIA

It's on the 2nd page of her blog & you need to scroll about halfway down the page - you'll see photos of CM, KC, DS with JB standing nearby. This occurred after KC's genuine crying after CA's testimony and she didn't look at KC when she left the stand.

i'm wondering something.

do labs put more qualified/longer term employees on cases they think will get this kind of spotlight vs a case that gets no notice in the media?

what i mean is - they wouldn't put a newby on this type of case because they would be torn apart on cross right? someone more seasoned could stand up to cross

or are they put on a case based on who's available at the time?

i'm wondering if stuff could get thrown out because the person in the lab was new and not because they did something wrong

Is this witness an FBI employee? I see that he is a hair and fiber expert but where is he employed? He is not the most enthusiastic individual, is he? The bug guy clearly loved his job. This guy doesn't seem to find his job quite as exciting.

I can tell you...I get MUCH more "excited" at the sight of a bug vs the sight of a hair, esp in the bathroom. LOL

Maybe he can get JB to represent him if it goes to court???

I think JB the bikini salesman just takes on cute girls.

If he has any personal family pics to sell, Baez might take him on! But he might be a bit busy for while LOL!

Hi guys!

New on the thread, but have been reading to catch up what I've missed from the trial. So I've been at this thread for a couple of days!

What my head* tells me what happened is that Caylee's death was an accident. It seems like she was drugged long term (with over the counter meds) and possibly left alone in Casey's apartment, and when that stopped working she went onto other things to keep her out longer. I think that had an adverse affect that ended up killing Caylee, especially if she made it from home.

In her moment of freak and panic.. she decided she needed to make it look like Caylee was kidnapped/possibly tortured so it wouldn't come out that she was drugging her kid. I think she put her in the trunk to place her elsewhere, but at Caylee still looking like Caylee.. she couldn't let her go. Until her body started to break down and she had to move her, which was the reason for the garbage bag. It seems like the reason she didn't bury her in the ground is because she wanted her to be found?


That she seemed smiley to keep up apperances so no one would suspect what had happened to her daughter because of her.

My head wants to say that she got that tattoo for caylee, and couldn't find the courage in herself to unwind from her own mess.

My heart however say something completely different with darker intent. One that no one really wants to think that people are capable of, let alone someones mother. That she likely did this on purpose. That she was enjoying her 'freedom', was glad in many ways to be rid of Caylee. She was 'moving on' with her life hence the tattoo. It also seems likely that someone did help her move the body. Can't really see Casey being in trouble and not going to someone she trusted with a sob story.

Hope in the coming days that we'll find out the truth about what happened and why.

Casey didn't have an apartment. She lived with her parents.

As far as knowing the truth...I think only KC knows the truth. She seems innately unable to relate the truth to anyone at any time, so I doubt we will ever know. The truth about KC is that she lies.

"She volunteers the statement “If I didn’t want my daughter, I would have given it to my mother,” To me this lie speaks volumes . What she meant to say was I didn’t want my daughter, I wouldn’t give it to my mother.”

This says it all. It shows the motive of why she killed Caylee. She did not want Caylee and would not allow her mother to have Caylee. The fact she called Caylee IT speaks volumes! Caylee was a non person Casey to. She was a burden to her and to her social life.

Casey told Lee that she was a “spiteful *****“. This couldn’t be more true. "

Welcome aboard! I have to tell you when this all first happened back in 2008, I was along the same lines as you are. It was just so hard to believe otherwise. After following this for 3 years and this trial, I no longer believe this.

Whether on purpose or not, Casey was not nurturing her daughter but found Caylee an impediment to her life. I do not doubt that she did not feel a thing but nerves when Caylee died and that it was a direct result of her own actions, by herself. I also do not believe anyone helped her. She is a sociopath .
