Casey Anthony TRIAL thread #2

Pregnancy is considered deliverable by 38 weeks I do believe, even though 40 weeks is the usual length. We went by the window of 38 weeks to 42 weeks in OB. In the last couple of week little developing goes on, mostly fat accumulation by the baby.

24 weeks is considered viable these days.

I was lookimg at the letters referenced earlier in the thread.

They are splitting hairs right now in court!

Crap, rain just knocked out my reception. HoseA won his objection to the hair study presentation?

OK...just saw your signature, and you're due in about 6 weeks? And you're saying 4 weeks brings you to the "full term" status. OK. Well, I pray all works out well for you!

ya i'm due july 27 at 40 weeks. full term is 37 to 42 weeks (huge span if you ask me) but average is 40 weeks so thats why they always do the due day based on those weeks.

so i was told IF need to er out early they would wait until at least July 6th which would be 37 weeks.

they already gave me the shots for her lungs to develope if they do indeed need to take her out earlier then 40 weeks.

it is best hat they stay in until they are ready but sometimes it's just not possible - just wish my family would stop asking me to ask if they should induce me - agrrr NO leave her in where she belongs unless it is medically necessary but i think my family thinks they can do more for her once shes out - they just don't understand

we're ok - i've been feeling her kicking around in there all weekend

my appointment is at 1 so we'll be leaving around 11.30. my aunt (a retired dr from england) is coming with me today because Patrick went back to work today. so she'll understand everything he's saying and can explain it to everyone. honestly i'm been getting tired of all the phone calls, my parents, dh's mom, my aunts, my brothers agrrrr - just want to confrence call everyone and say it once. or record it and just hit play

i'm hopeful the tubes are doing their job and by now the area will be fluid free. i'm also hoping the hydrops will have lessoned and she isn't as puffy.

i know she still has to stay in for at least 4 weeks but boy do i want her out so i can know for sure she's ok. kwim.

Good to hear she's been kicking around. Hopefully your appt today will be positive!

I can completely understand wanting to know NOW if she's ok! Big hugs and many prayers!

Partially. The power point pics will NOT be allowed. However, the testimony stands as they had not objected to that. (Not sure if that was a fail on Baez part)

You are right. It is best for baby to stay inside as long as the pregnancy is still safe. Families get anxious!

Jumping in to say hi! I've been following this thread and the trial so much that my kids are starting to complain. DS17 wanted to know why I cared about something that didn't involve us. Well, he got a lecture on compassion and the story of a little girl that thousands of people in this world are grieving for! We just want justice served!

I don't believe George abused Casey but I do think he contributed to her learning how to lie. I was reading an article in People that stated Casey claimed the abuse started at age 8. But thought she had wrote in her letters it went on from ages 12-15. Or was that Lee's abuse?

I'm gonna try to stay up on things but we leave for Orlando on Wed and will be there for a week. Is there any estimation as to when it should be over?

Baez says he did object to this testimony under Frye. Crap, HoseA, that was already ruled on as a different issue. Not the same!

JBP giving another schooling to JB! Good gosh this is painful!

I am sure it is such a lingering and want her to arrive and know she is ok. Okay make a recording and call one call and play to everyone. I am still continuing to pray for you both. to both of you.

This testimony is losing me......Is there a yawning smilie?

People have lots of opinions about other people's pregnancies. I hope I don't get like that with my DD! It's often out of love, but it's hard on the pregnant mom. Lots and lots of .

Hi! I think it was Lee from 12 - 15 per those letters. And I feel sorry for you, going to Orlando (NOT!). I think the prosecution is supposed to wrap up this Friday...or is it next Friday?? (I'm helpful, no? :))

Is this witness an FBI employee? I see that he is a hair and fiber expert but where is he employed? He is not the most enthusiastic individual, is he? The bug guy clearly loved his job. This guy doesn't seem to find his job quite as exciting.

You're concerned about the baby (of course) your family is concerned about the baby AND you. They're concerned and they may sound annoying (hormones and anxiety can make us impatient) but they only showing their love.

Imagine the beautiful child inside of you having health issues that you can't control. You'd call, annoy and become a pain (and you WILL) to her, too... and no amount of  will stop you.

Relax, have a healthy baby and enjoy being loved. Sometimes we take it for granted. :cloud9:

many thoughts and prayers for you and baby....I'm due a bit after you 9/16 and I get what you mean re teh phone calls etc. I only just came out at work but the daily, how are you doing, feeling, medical questions etc....just gets old. I know people mean well and care but still.

Hope she stays put for a while longer!!! Good luck and keep us posted!

Expert witnesses get to eye rolling and heavy blinking early on with HoseA's cross examining.
