Can anyone point me in the direction of the photo of Casey at the wedding with her mother? After listening this morning, DW wanted to see it. I checked the evidence link in post #1, but didn't see it there (may have missed it).

I do wish George would just come out and say full truths. The fact is, he was terrified when he picked up that car because they were already suspicious that Casey had been lying and was scared she might have done something terrible. That is why the didn't call 911 right away.

They knew who their daughter was. They had been dealing with her stealing money from them and from the grandparents for a long time. They already had suspicions that she wasn't really working. A therapist had already told Cindy to kick Casey out and file for custody of Caylee. But she was scared she would never see the little girl again.

I think they now, hopefully, realize that its sink or swim . Either they tell the truth or they are going down. At least George is going down. And all the lies they've told are now being used to say they were covering for themselves and not for Casey.

I wish (the bolded). But you know Baez would be ALL over George and accuse him of lying back then..."why should we believe you now?" Ironic.

Because she had been missing from home. She hadn't seen her in weeks and Casey was always coming up with stories as to why they were not home

Maybe cover up isnt the right word. I do believe they impeded the investigation. At first they were cooperative but it soon changed as she realized they were honing in on Casey. I dont know if they didn't want to believe the Casey did this so they were angry that cops weren't looking for others. Cindy was blaming Ricardo , Tony and even Jesse for a while. Saying they had to know something.

The other possibility is that they suspected Casey and tried to get the attention off of her. They definately were nasty to the cops and didn't want to help. They kept information to themselves. They didn't give up Caylee's hairbrush . They didn't give all the credit card receipts showing how Casey was stealing from them. They kept all of Casey's previous issues quiet. There was a definite point where they went from finding Caylee to protecting Casey.

They fought and hemmed and hawed. The depositions in the civil case that the woman actually named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez brought on are particularly telling. George and Cindy were very combative during many of the pre-trial hearings. I think they are finally admitting to themselves how much their daughter is willing to lie.

Gotcha! And I concur! I do believe in their heart of hearts that they wanted a live Caylee (as anyone would).

I would have LOVED to know what the conversations were like in that house that summer when Casey was on house arrest.

Because Casey had not allowed her to see Caylee or talk to her since June 16th, and as Cindy told today she had realized that Casey had lied to her about where she was.

so are you reading that as in casey won't let me see my granddaughter?

maybe because i know caylee had been ....gone for at least 2 weeks that it just looks like she's talking about her death not just not being able to see her.

I cannot see how far her belly sticks out.

But realize that this is a wedding photo around the time Casey fessed up. What we don't see are pictures of how she dressed the rest of the time.

I have a friend who is pregnant right now. She is showing and because she is "sharing" this fact and dresses to show her belly, I can say--sure, she looks pregnant. BUT, if I was not told she was pregnant--she would not look pregnant.

I 100% believe that Casey either killed this little girl herself or had someone do it.

I also believe 100% that neither George or Cindy had no idea that Casey was going to hurt this baby, they loved this little girl more then anything. I also don't believe that George tried to cover anything up, I remember the call that Cindy made saying that Casey car smelled like something had died, I don;t think she would have made that call,

I also don't believe that her dad or brother sexually abused her either, I think Casey is so messed up in the head that she is starting to believe the lies she is telling,

i mean i know it happens - i've seen enough of teh "i didn't know i was pg" shows to know not everyone stick out like a basketball it's just hard for me to see someone living in the same house who would have seen her in all types of clothes from shorts and tshirts to trackpants adn sweaters no to at least think something was up.

i dont know - a lot of their relationship seems ......... fake

like it's a show for outsiders but not really how they were - kwim

what's the motive for killing caylee?

I believe her motive for killing Caylee was she was mad at her mom for some reason and she knew that killing Caylee would hurt her mom the worse, I don't remember now Casey had put something on myspace or somewhere about revenge I will see if I can find it

i'm back from my u/s - baby is head up but that's ok - she's got 7 weeks to flip flop all over the place lol

My son was head down forever and one night I felt like he was going to burst out of my body a la "Alien", and ended up sideways. This was at about 7 1/2 months. Then a week or so before my due date, he clawed his way (I swear, it was like he was climbing a tree) back into a head down position. I was induced 2 days late...he weighed 11 lbs 5 oz. My oldest DD was 10 lbs 1 oz (but a C-section) and then I had two VBACs...my 2nd DD (10 lbs 5 oz) and then my son.

First. CONGRATS MaryAnn! A grandbaby.. thats awesome!

Can't wait to wrap my arms around that baby! He/she already has a bib that says "I love Grandma." Don't know who bought that!

Geez, between my birthday, the wedding, and the baby...sorry for derailing this thread occasionally!

But Caylee had never been away from them for this long, and Casey wasn't bringing her home when Cindy was asking her to. Like others have said, Cindy was afraid of losing Caylee...that Casey would take her away from her. Cindy said on the stand that she thought that Casey would be the only one who would see that posting...that she didn't know how MySpace worked. At this point on July 3, Caylee WAS missing from her life.

With my first, I was the skinniest I'd been my adult life when I got pregnant. I traveled to visit family at 4 months and friends and family couldn't tell I was pregnant (I thought it was very obvious.)

I was in a choir, we did a performance when I was 5 1/2 months and had a very hard time with my skirt fitting me at all and thought it was excessively form fitting. When we came back for rehearsals two weeks later, I had two people come up to me and ask "where have you been hiding this baby?" (and I'd been wearing maternity clothes out of necessity for two months). But these were people who only saw me once a week.

In the same house, I think she might have gotten to five months with a "maybe she's putting on weight," but that picture, even with it straight on, I can't see how anyone could miss the fact that she was pregnant!

My kids were born long and fat. LOL When my first was born at 10 lbs 1 oz, one of the Drs (there was a team from NICU there) said "Wow, look at the thighs on her!" I thought "Swell, some of the first words my daughter is hearing is that she has fat thighs. She'll end up in therapy someday with repressed memories of her birth."

If I remember correctly Casey hadn't been letting them see Caylee for like a month before she went offically missing.
