I saw that 'n thought oh, here we go with all the body language "experts," drives me nuts coz first, it's all open for interpretation 'n second, it's not evidence by legal standards.
And yet she got the balloon boy wrong.![]()
Why oh why does Baez like getting in trouble? Right out of the gate, he was told he could not talk about this yesturday.![]()
Morning, all!
I'm here & ready for today!
Did they ever say if court would be in session on Saturday?
Yep--she never said she was perfect.
She is otherwise vetted for her skills, though.
How many cases have you gotten right?![]()
For those of us not actually watching--you gotta be more specific.![]()
He's an idiot. Did you hear him ask Tony if he spoke a lot to Casey on the phone, even when they weren't together? And Tony says that if they were together, they wouldn't be talking on the phone. Why oh why does Baez like getting in trouble? I THINK it is. I think the question is will they work on Monday, the holiday, and Judge Perry is supposed to say today. I wouldn't be surprised if he announces it at the end of the day.Morning, all!

So Baez asked Tony if Casey ever said she loved him- answer yes! He then went on to ask Tony if he ever told Casey that he loved her- answer Yes! Looks like Mr. Bozo just provided motive for the prosecution.
I have a question for you expertsand I apologize if this has been discussed already. I remember watching tv and seeing lots of footage of George and Cindy Anthony visiting that P.O.S. Casey in jail....pleading with her to tell them where Caylee was etc. I also seem to recall Casey at one point refusing to see her mother because she was angry at her and only agreeing to see George. Clearly, because he was a "molester" you know - LUDACRIS!!!! It was so obvious back then that George cared about and loved Caylee AND Casey even when it was obvious to the rest of the world who was guilty here. It was also very clear that no, George did not know where Caylee was and did not know she had died in the pool.
My question is this - are those tapes admissble in court? I think I recall hearing the prosecution would not be able to use them, but wanted to verify. If they cannot use them, what a shame.
I'm not involved in courts in any way (except on TV), but I just saw his looking down as composing himself when he really just wanted to scream his outrage at being falsely accused. One of the bits I did see from the Today show was George being asked about the abuse, his pause & looking at his lap. That did bother me. I watch witnesses testify every day. I can generally tell the lies. I've been in many, many sexual abuse cases. I don't know what to make of this situation. Overall, down deep, I have a creeping suspicion this is a carefully crafted defense story, very, very carefully crafted.
What I am fairly confident of is that George did not participate in the cover up of the murder. It's not nearly well-done enough for anyone who has familiarity w/ law enforcement like he does.
Thanks--she isn't so little anymore. This happened several years ago. Physicians practically promised that there would be no permanent scarring or damage since she was so young and how her burns were treated. Sure enough--it is extremely difficult to see where the burns are. She has no memory of it at all.
BTW, eyes for lies has her analysis up of George's testimony. She believes him (regarding Jose's claim of what happened to Caylee, 100%). She is reserving on the other claims as she really needs to see more footage. Also, she will not do an analysis of Baez at anytime saying that the job is hard enough as it is.

I completely agree with you on the issue of covering up a murder or any death, ESPECIALLY an accidental death. Why do that?
Exactly. And that's what infuriates me, altho I'm sure there's a whole class in law schoolYou can't unring a bell.
I'll side w/ your judgment on George's reaction because you are watching it. It is a perfectly valid response in his situation. All I had to go on was one of those shots of just his visual reaction, w/ a commentator discussing what was happening at that point.
I'm not 100-percent positive either way about the abuse claim. Like I said, down deep I suspect it's an artful creation by the Defense.
Sexual abuse of children is an insidious thing, most often goes undetected or unproven just by its very nature. IMO it may well be the worst of the worst of criminal actions & those who prey on children should have a special pit of hell reserved for them.
