I don't know why the prosecution isn't ruling out Casey mentioning drowning with these witnesses, but maybe it doesn't matter, I don't know. Just seems like they would cover that, too.

I mentioned up thread that my guess is that they never asked any of these witnesses any thing about drowning previously during the past 3 yrs.

You don't want to ask that on the stand for the first time & get a surprise YES answer.

Not that I think it would happen, but you only ask things you know the answers to.

Baez has not asked this question since the 3rd? person. They may have told him he could not ask them anymore. So that may be the reason the pros hasnt asked that type of question.

Yes, and you probably don't want to mention it over and over to the jury which might lead them to believe you are taking it seriously.

Don't forget there has been no evidence offered to support this theory. If there is some presented by the defense later, it can be address and discredited then.

Finally, IIRC in some states an attorney cannot cross-examine a witness about something that was not addressed in direct examination. I am not sure if this is the case in FL but it might be why there were so many objections to the questions yesterday maybe the judge told Baez he couldn't ask anymore.

Ok, somebody didn't make me enough coffee. I fell asleep while they were on lunch break and just woke up a few minues ago. That's about a 3 hour nap! Maybe closer to 4 hours.

He didn't ask if there was duct tape on the gas cans then when he was asking about the gas cans. Not sure if that would make a difference or not.

It's been almost 3 years, he's a guy, and he really didn't know Caylee, and apparently Casey, all that well.*wagging finger at my children*..."See what happens?" No, he's not like that. I don't believe he had anything to do with it. I think it was a far more casual relationship for him than her. Commentators were saying that either they had heard, or maybe they were just speculating, that he wasn't overly thrilled about having a GF with a small child, he was young and having a good time, etc.

Prosecutor just asked about it being a fairly new relationship on June 16...he said yes. Didn't go to school the next day because he wanted to stay in bed with Casey. Pretty much spent the day there in bed.

My guess is she was probably a "real good time" and good at whatever it was she did. If you read the extensive timeline all her friends & investigators put together, seems like she was having sex with a few guys. Not unusual to just call one up, and hook up.

I'm sure he wanted to stay home & in bed for the day instead of going to school. What college guy wouldn't?

When Casey started living at the apt Caylee was already dead and Casey wasn't going home. That is why her parents couldn't ask her where Caylee was.

I don't think they've brought it up yet, but didn't Casey supposedly have a fight over stolen money or checks with Cindy within a couple of days before June 16? So, perhaps Casey took off, told her parents she was staying with other people with Casey, and when she did come back or speak to her parents, she gave them the old "Caylee's with the babysitter or a friend" story. If my daughter did that, the LAST thing I would think is that my grandchild was missing or dead. I'd think she was with the babysitter or a friend. Her parents did question "Where was Caylee?" But again...who'd think "dead"?
