I can't speak for Dr. Girlfriend but for me it's the Boy Who Cried Wolf thing. She's told SO many lies, half truths & innuendos that anything she claims gets automatic suspicion from me.

Oh, but abuse victims learn to lie and cover up. The must learn to detach from reality.

Even back when I was working I could never afford that much in daycare.

I live here in Orlando and pay $248 a week for 2 kids in daycare...a national daycare with security web viewing and I feel THAT is expensive. I couldn't afford $400 a week!

Because it's an opinion? On a discussion board? Because Casey has lied so much? Because the whole defense story sounds like a bunch of BS, IMHO? Because throwing out other ridiculous accusations makes one (me, at least) question everything they say?

I don't believe it for a second either....not saying she wasn't molested by someone else...but if you've watched how she acted towards her family throughout these past years, she has been planning this since she cut off contact....I don't believe she would leave Caylee with an abuser either.

I don't believe it based off of all of the lies that Casey has told. Every single thing that has come out of her mouth is a bold faced lie. Didn't she lie about stealing checks and going to Target? Because until she was presented with video evidence of herself standing there paying with stolen checks, she lied.

Do I think the Anthony family has skeletons in their closet? Yes. Do I think her family was involved in molesting/incest? No. Just because it seems like she is trying to paint this bizarre picture of taking the blame off of herself.

I also do not believe he abused his daughter, nor do I believe that his SON abused his daughter. The fact that the defense had Lee Anthony tested to see if Caylee was his daughter is disgusting and bizarre.

It is strange that they had Lee take a paternity test considering that yesterday in opening statements the defense said Lee tried to touch Casey but it never got farther. Why would you need a paternity test for Lee if they never had sex?

Look around 3.02 - freakiest thing I've ever seen and it takes a lot to freak me out. Downs lied about who killed her kids but she's not lying about what happened in the car after the kids were shot - and it makes her smile. She has no idea what emotions are appropriate and which are not.

Casey's lied so much, about so many things, that it's hard to believe anything she says now. But it would explain a lot. I don't believe for a second that Georges helped her cover it up though, he was a detective, he'd know better than to bury the child with her own blanket. And he'd probably know how to get rid of a car that smells like death before it gets impounded. As far as letting her daughter live with a man who molested her as a child, she wouldn't be the first one to do so.

Excellent point. The same thing goes with the duct tape and sticker - since they were matched up with items in their home, he wouldn't have done that.

No, the suicide attempt was about 2 1/2 years ago, I think. I think this abuse claim was later.

Like I've said before...it must only be people who grew up in happy well-adjusted non-dysfunctional homes who actually have to take responsibility for their criminal actions.

Actually I have a little knowledge on the subject and yes people who have been abused can have normal lives, not APPEAR but actually have normal lives. Can walls go up when hurt, yes of course, but once you have your own child that becomes your life and everything in the past is the past and you do what you need to do to protect your child and give them a safe and happy home.

No such thing as a perfect crime. IF, Caylee drowned and it was covered up? The crime would be the cover up.. Odds are you're going to screw it up.

How do we know, it's not true? I think, Casey behaves like an abuse victim.

Have you watched the jail house visits and listened to the jail house conversations between Casey and her parents? Im not familiar with abuse victims, but she certainly doesn't sound like it to me. Many of these were recorded before the family knew that they would be released to the public. I see a girl who is firmly in control in that family. She's a nasty piece of work.

Personally, I think George didn't want to believe that Casey killed Caylee. I think Cindy commands there and he was told to tow the line. I also think that as more and more evidence came out, he started to realize and have to face that in fact, Casey did do it. I think that is what drove him to suicide. He doesn't seem like a particularly strong man, but one de-masculized (if thats a word) by a domineering woman.

I also think that it is Cindy that has more to do with how Casey came out than anyone else. I firmly believe that family is nuts and Cindy has always pretended its not. That lying was passed down to Casey.

I dont know if George was an abuser or not , but I DO know that Casey is a liar. She covers each lie exposed with a bigger one and each one has gotten bigger as time goes on. I also believe that is no way in H$LL that she would have sat in jail for 3 years if this wasnt her fault or that she was afraid for this to come out and it took her 3 years to admit it. She's been dropping tidbits about being abused to people for years, even before Caylee died.

From what Ive read, it does look like the State, after reading those psychologist reports, advised the Anthony's lawyers of the abuse allegations and they were prepared to hear them. Also Ive read that although they knew this was coming, they did not know about the cover-up story.

Again, I dont know these people but I try to think logically. Ive gone back and forth and vascillated. But nothing else makes sense to me. Logically, however, I can't buy anything Casey is selling right now.

But why would George cover up an accident? Baez was very clear in saying that George did not kill Caylee. Unless he is accepting this in order to save his daughter.

I wanna throw something out here and someone correct me if I am wrong, I have been thinking about the heart shaped sticker. I thought I heard or read somewhere that Casey did everything with caylee and sealing it with a kiss. Well covering her up with duct tape and putting a heart sticker over the area, is that her way of sealing it with a kiss? Just MHO

That was the most chilling smile I have ever seen.

Not the first time or last time children were killed because they got in the way of a lifestyle the mother/father wanted.

I'm watching this case every day and it's very interesting watching the witnesses questioned.
