I knew they were lying about changing the date she got out! She was listed as an inmate on their website this morning and as of right now she isn't! She is out!!

I haven't read the last 5 pages of this thread or watched TV, has this been reported yet?

I'm sure she's headed over to Fushion's for a hot-body contest tonight.

Seriously, if she could go out and party on her first night out of jail, she'd do it, but I'm thinking Jose or someone else on that defense team is watching out for her now. She could still blow them off and go out.

I'm willing to cut her some slack until we find out the whole story. She might be a money hungry, fame seeking, you know what. Again, not thrilled with that but in this case, I could let it slide. On the other hand, she may be just as appalled as the rest of us have been by the verdict and she wants to do something positive. Maybe she would sue and donate the money to help find other missing kids. We don't have a clue what her intentions are. I imagine it wouldn't be easy for someone to meet their granddaughter when the father had minimal contact. I'm thinking Cindy wouldn't take too kindly to some lady showing up on the doorstep claiming to be the other grandmother.

She should have done the DNA testing first, then if it were true then Casey really has something to worry about.

Ahhhh OK I can see it now! She is there. OOPS! I guess adding her first name was what was throwing it off? I have searched for her every few hours the same way (with first name) and she's always shown up except for this time! That is weird, they were tricking me I guess! I always thought they were lying about changing her date so when I saw that I was like whoa!

The woman is desperate. I feel bad for her because she lost her son and now I read here, a daughter. However, she thinks Caylee looked like her son and he had gone to FL with the moving company he was working for on a delivery. She says he told her he had a child in Fl a few days before he died. As anyone with 2 brain cells knows, there were thousands of children born the same year as Caylee. I don't know how she could get DNA from her son except to exhume and then how would she get DNA from Caylee, wasn't she cremated? That lawyer is doing her a disservice. Hopefully, a judge will dismiss the case before the woman goes into debt.

I would think they could use the DNA from Caylee that they already have, and as for the son they actually don't need to use his. They can use a sibling or even the grandparents to show association, it just wouldn't show up as 99.99%. If anyone watches Teen Mom, they used Sophie's fathers (who also died in a car accident) sister and it showed 95%.

I just have to post a quick response because I've tried posting replies on here three times and none of my posts get through. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've been kind, supportive of other posters and not bashed Casey too much

I would guess either something you are doing (technically) or a server hiccup.

The mods do not have an approval process for posts. So unless there was content that got reported and they came back and deleted it (and you would have been notified of wrongdoing)...it probably is just a coincidental glitch.

I think so. I heard, I think on HLN yesterday about speculation Casey would be headed to Puerto Rico.

It may be across water, but it is still a US territory. Not like she is fleeing to Guatamala.

So now 3 years later the trial is over. Maybe they refused which left her no other option.

Probably.

I don't know how long she was trying.

But for a lawsuit to be dismissed, the burden of paternity would have to be ruled out and since Casey has been acknowledged in court with an unladylike description--the burden would certainly be on HER to prove that this family is NOT kin.

I agree that the chances of her son being the dad are slim to none, BUT she claims that in this conversation her son told her about the baby girl he was having with a girl named "Casey" from FL and her parents "Cindy and George who was a police officer"...

Maybe her memory is a lot like Cindy's - it seems to get better with time! Who knows what the truth is, but she seems to think she could be the grandmother. Highly unlikely, IMO!

And don't forget that Casey herself had said (after it was proven that JG wasn't Caylee's father) that the Dad had moved out of state and later was killed in an accident. So the story does fit. I guess we will have to wait and see the results of a paternity test. Because we all know that ICA is a liar and even if the story is about the same guy, it doesn't mean that he was really the Dad. . .could be one of the several other guys she was sleeping with. Maybe the story of this guy was just convenient for her.

Also, somebody mentioned CA and GA suing for wrongful death. I don't think grandparents can, unless they were the legal guardians. Just like this other grandmother, she wouldn't actually be suing. . .it would be her son's estate.

The only one who truly knows who the father is is Casey (at least one would think) ... so if she hears about this woman coming forward now, it may just roll off Casey's back because she knows it can't be true ... however, if she knows that it is true, then maybe, even if the grandmother doesn't have a case in the end, it will at least give Casey a little bit of "agita" (an Italian word for heartburn ) for a time being ... just sayin' ...

As a narcissist, she's going to be looking for attention from someplace. She's had her entire legal team fawning over her for 3 years and I'm sure she will love to have them take care of her when she gets out. If she does go out to a club, she had better bring a lot of bodyguards along, because I don't see that ending well for her.

You know , I wouldn't be surprised to hear in a few months that Casey is no longer supported by her defense team. I can see them trying to "help" her but she will get tired of being hidden away quickly. She will piss them off...

According to this story it just "dawned on her" last month that Caylee could be her granddaughter

This woman says that she has watched this case very closely, and all along has felt that little Caylee looked like her family.

She says last month it dawned on her that her son told her back in 2007 that he had a little girl in Florida.
