I hope she can prove that she is Caylee's grandmother because, IMO, I think someone should sue Casey for wrongful death ...

I find this pathetic. I can understand if CA/GA wanted to do a wrongful death suit. But the talking heads mentioned a lawsuit when the mother of the son that died in the car accident and if she would have a claim. They said it would be a long shot, and of course would have to prove paternity.

They did not know Caylee, did not know about her and that she existed. Sounds like another money hungry person trying to make a buck off this case.

Normally I hate when people come out of the woodwork but in this case, I hope this grandma is legit and she gets millions.

I saw that Baez and Cheney won't be representing Casey in her Zanny case. I wonder how she feels about that - with them being her new family and all?

I believe someone from Cheney's firm will be representing her so it isn't like they ditched her completely. Too bad. I'm sure they will eventually drop her once they realize she won't be the cash cow they had hoped for.

Shortly after, she lost both her son and daughter in a car accident. It was only a few months later that Caylee went "missing" so I can see this woman not wanting to get involved when nobody knew who she was.

B&C are criminal attorneys. She needs a civil one. If she would have filed an appeal to the lying, they wouldn't have done that either. She would need an apellate lawyer.

She claims that she's been following the case all along and just last month it dawned on her that her son said he had a daughter in Florida and all of the names matched the Anthony family. Sorry not buying it.

Oh, I never said I was buying it. I am simply saying if she can cause Casey to have to pay more money in court costs and precious time away from her "Beautiful Life," I'm all in favor of it. If she gets a huge settlement that Casey has to pay off for the rest of her life, I won't complain. Not saying the woman is legit or even has a case but I am in favor of anyone that wants to drag Casey's sorry *** through the court system.

Maybe it was a typo in the first reports and they forgot a 0. Ive heard they were going for 115k.

She's accustomed to having their full attention,and I think she liked to think it was them against the world. Now, she's going to be on her own with somebody else. I think it will leave her somewhat out of her element - not that she won't be able to continue to lie at will like always. I just hope that this situation is as uncomfortable for her as possible.

I don't think Casey will leave town over this civil case. If she does then she is beyond stupid.
