Did you read it? I was looking up attorneys who have committed witness tampering. The attorney in the Susan Polk trial committed witness.tampering.

Seeing that Casey did not hire them and she is not the one that asked them to come down, I can see where they are limited in what they can do. Im still glad they are suing even if it is only for $15,000.

Now, just going to patiently wait for the hearing where the State will ask for renumeration. Again, they can't get reimbursed for everything, such as jury sequester, trial cost, etc, but the investigative costs should be substantial.

I can only imagine that Baez maybe regretting his opening statement saying " She was never missing " is coming to haunt him.

I did read it but am not sure how her issue has anything to do with not charging Cindy for perjury? Unless they're going to hold both of them to a "higher degree" for lying/perjury?

I am having a hard time dealing with this also. But they maybe looking at the possiblilty of the witness tampering maybe more of a charge than perjury. This Laura would not make a document false for nothing. Someone else was involved, and if she visited both Baez and Cindy says alot. If they are all indited for the offense this may affect the case in a whole new way. I think Baez and Cindy paid her to do that.

You know, I lost of hope on this case the more evidence they have, the more they want, Cindy lied and its OK, the tampering evidence NOW, Casey was acquitted, she is free to go! I was just watching those videos and I can't understand how a mother that the kid is allegedly missing is sitting there, doing her nails, adjusting her clothes, popping the gum, is like sitting at the doctor's office being bored, come on! She is so worried about her outfit and her glasses. If my kid was missing, they would had to medicate me to keep me from going crazy, she said they never gave her a chance to talk!! BS! Even if my dog was missing much less a child.

Im just sick to think that after all these, she is ok to go, her mom is ok even when it was clear she lied I think even Susan Smith was more credible and at the end she admitted her crime.

All of them are a bunch of liars, I felt so bad for the detectives and glad they had the chance to speak and said that they did everything possible, they were looking for a missing kid not a body, their suspect was Zenaida, a Puertorican lady, no one ever mentioned sexual abuse, accidental drowning nothing!

Maybe the state would want to go after her on witness tampering than the perjury charge. The state needs to wait and see what LE comes up with on witness tampering. She needs to be charged with something.

I read a blog on the huffington post a couple of days ago about a volunteer, he said that he was there with the search group and remember that they search very close to where the body was found, he stated that he was suppose to testify but the defense didn't call him at the end, he was dismissed or whatever is called. It kills me that they search all over the place except for that place knowing how close the place is to the house. He said that it was underwater therefore they didn't go to that spot, it was during hurricane Ike.

Ahhh ... but there lies the difference with the word missing! The reason Casey was able to remain so calm is because Caylee wasn't missing and she knew it! Why worry about a missing child when there isn't one?

They were looking for a missing kid not a body, their suspect was Zenaida, a Puertorican lady, no one ever mentioned sexual abuse, accidental drowning nothing!

Funny how sexual molestation wasn't brought up when they were looking for Zanny the Nanny. Casey's sexual molestation wasn't brought up until they had to change the lie.

Laura Buchanan apparently falsified documents and lied under oath to make it look as if she and other TES volunteers searched the exact spot where Caylee's body was found, but found no body. She also tried to recruit other TES volunteers to participate in the plot. This was done with the help\instruction of Jose Baez. All allegedly, of course.

So the arguement here for prosecuters was well you've got a child dumped in the woods with duct tape and in a bag and looks pretty much like homocide, we're convinced it's homicide but this jury unable to make that leap, Jane, they couldn't make the leap from the circumstances that this was a homicide. A child wrapped in a blanket, wrapped in a bag, duct taped and tossed in the woods, In their minds they couldn't make the jump that that was evidence of a homicide."

JVM went on to say that Scott Peterson was caught in lies (ie: telling Amber Frey that he was in Paris when he was really at his wife's memorial) and so was Casey (Universal Studios job/Zanny the Nanny/etc.) but this jury didn't seem to care.

Both VP and JVM are saying that the jurors just didn't put the pieces together or link it together to get the big picture.

The Sheriff's office was asked about these so called sealed pics and Melich says that they turned everything over and as far as he knows, he know nothing if sealed pics. Who knows

She never ASKED the police to come looking for her. But due to her lies, many resources were spent looking for her. She never called authorities herself.

IIRC, she had community service as her sentence and she owed money back.

So just because Ms. Anthony did not ask--IMHO, does not matter. She committed fraud and people were trying to help her based on that fraud. I do believe she is culpable.

I wonder how they came to the dollar amount they did.

Exactly my point, Casey didn't give a fly because she knew Caylee was in a trash bag in the swap, but the jury that was so worried looking at George to see if he was lying, never looked at Caseys attitude and her lack of care when her kid was suppose to be missing, that is my point, they look at everybody else body language except for Casey's and she was on tape for hours and hours!!

Cindy did not lie (as far as any records show) regarding Caylee being missing.

Casey committed the fraud.

I don't think it matters who hires a rescue organization.

WHAT would motivate an attorney to do such a thing...

I swear--if he knew Caylee was there, I think he should be complicit in the crime/cover up.

I get that he must defend Casey--I don't get how it is legally allowed for him to allow evidence to decay and play "finders keepers, losers weepers"--meaning, allowing the evidence to further erode away into nothingness to help his client's case.

Is there no crime here? And why?

Just announced that Texas EquuSearch officially suing Casey Anthony, but it looks like it's only for $15,000, not the $112,000 that was spent.

Just saw on HLN an interview with EquuSearch owner/attorney and the attorney specifically said " the law suit was filed today, it's against Casey Anthony because her attorney said she was never missing. They are going for the total amount $112K!!! He also said they turned down other families that needed help because they were searching for Caylee. Oh, and he said she will be served tomorrow in jail, so she can't disappear! They will also seek her deposition!

The owner, Tim Miller said they had no choice because they have never been in this position before.

I considered that theory for about 2 seconds, b/c WHY would LE help cover up a porn ring? She has been harping on that scenario for a while now and even predicted Casey would be acquitted.

She claims Casey may not even have been there when she died, since she was pimping her out.

But, again, why would this be covered up for a 'regular' murder trial? I don't see a reason.
