Just a little note, that isn't the Universal interview. That was right after her 1st arrest, I think. I haven't watched them in a while but I think she was arrested and she is waiting for Baez to show up. The Universal studios interviews are audio only.

Of course! Now anyone can go and lie on the stand, its ok, just like its ok to lie to the police, not report your kids, the Anthony's just get away with everything and anything! They lied all of them did, poor little Caylee, she might be better in heaven than growing up with a bunch of liars. I think the only normal is Lee. I think but you never know in that family.

I am having a hard time dealing with this also. But they maybe looking at the possiblilty of the witness tampering maybe more of a charge than perjury. This Laura would not make a document false for nothing. Someone else was involved, and if she visited both Baez and Cindy says alot. If they are all indited for the offense this may affect the case in a whole new way. I think Baez and Cindy paid her to do that.

This case, all the way around, has been so very sad. The concept that you can get away with so much and never have to pay the price has been heartbreaking.

Just announced that Texas EquuSearch officially suing Casey Anthony, but it looks like it's only for $15,000, not the $112,000 that was spent.

As disappointed as I am in the lower amount that they're looking for, I am happy that they are suing her for her lies and not dropping it altogether!

OK - so this Laura person tampered with her own Equusearch records in regards to the search for Caylee, right? And she lied about not finding anything when she allegedly searched the area where Caylee's body was found, right? I can see how that would do a number on things if she did lie in her testimony, etc.

However, I'm not sure how that effects not charging Cindy for perjury after her lies on the computer searches? Can anyone explain?

While I'm disappointed that they're not suing for the full $112K, I am glad that they're going after her for something rather than dumping the lawsuit altogether!

Seeing that Casey did not hire them and she is not the one that asked them to come down, I can see where they are limited in what they can do. Im still glad they are suing even if it is only for $15,000.

Now, just going to patiently wait for the hearing where the State will ask for renumeration. Again, they can't get reimbursed for everything, such as jury sequester, trial cost, etc, but the investigative costs should be substantial.
