And no, my life is not totally involved in this case. I work full time, I read and respond to this thread because I enjoy (for the most part) it. I don't spend time watching all the talk on TV, I did watch as much of the trial as I could..but I know I missed a lot of it.

I also am not calling for ICA's death, and never said I felt she should get the death penalty, but I did say that I hope she is tied up in lawsuits and legal battles so she never forgets what she did to that poor baby...and yes I am 100 % sure she killed her and I also felt the state did an awesome job and this jury screwed up big time and did not follow the rules placed before them.

I may not be happy with the verdict but to make the leap that I want the jurors or Casey to be tortured, maimed or killed is beyond ridiculous.

I am disgusted with the court system. I don't wish anyone harm from this. The problem is Casey created the issue , which has had an affect on so many people. Just likethe lady in Oklahoma. I believe most people want justice served in the proper manner. They want justice for Caylee. It makes me angry that Casey doesn't have a problem with Baez cashing in on her daughter. I hope that there maybe a way for the Morgan attorney to get a different judge. They have waited 3 years. This woman also has a right to a fair trial.

If it were anyone of us I bet we would of been made to take a depo right there and then. I take this case some what personal , as in the court system wise. But itis a way for me to have a say and feel a little better.

I'm still getting alerts to every post on this thread, because I haven't had a chance to turn them off. Most I delete, but some catch my eye. I do see a great deal of obsession in this thread with a trial that is over, but I realize that some people have absolutely nothing better to do.

There are tons of murdered, missing, molested, and abused children/individuals in the world. Saving one is so much more important than mourning one!

Can any one of you who is obsessing over the Caycee Anthony verdict honestly claim to be doing *anything* to help those in need? Sitting on your bum behind a keyboard on the Dis Community Board doesn't count, BTW (even if you hit "Ignore," till your pinkie becomes ever so slightly uncomfortable)...

So, my 2 cents. If people think we are obsess here, or why we keep talking about, bla bla bla, why coming here in the first place, is like those people on facebook that "LIKE" pages of issues or a politician whatever that they totally hate or don't agree just to go a tell how much they hate them, well I don't "like" pages of stuff I don't like, why would I do that? Why would I "like" the Jersey Shore page if I don't watch nor I have any desire to watch it, same here, if people doesn't want to talk or read about Casey and her case, then go on to something else, open you own thread!

Silly poster! You don't know anything about any of us, what we do or don't do and how we live our lives. This is a thread about the Casey Anthony trial, not about helping people in need. I usually stick to the topic at hand in a thread.

Knock it off already, go on.. go help mankind and stop obsessing with us. Im sure you have better things to do than spend your valuable time "showing us the light" ,but I thank you for caring...

Um, yes, yes I can. Though what difference it should make to YOU escapes me. Just like you, I'm perfectly within my rights to post on any thread that I'm interested in. And I'll sit on my "bum" to do it or might even stand up if I so choose. However, unlike you, I don't feel the moral superiority to chastise and belittle folks over posting on a topic that interests them. But I'll assume you've unsubscribed to this thread already.

And while it is absolutely none of dandave's business, this case has inspired me to CHANGE my volunteer habits and look for things involving missing or abused children. Before this, I have always actively volunteered but those things never had anything to do with this topic. Dandave, I am sorry I have "wasted" my volunteer time in the past on things that weren't directly related to the topics I post about on The Dis. I'll make sure that doesn't happen again.
