I really wanna like Carthay Circle but always leave disappointed...my one criticism of Park food is that it is often too bland but feel Cartahy over compensates with way too bold flavors that never work IMO. I feel like they try to be foodie but with chefs that have no idea how to cook with ingredients even though Sutton is the head (but I also think he royally screwed up Napa Rose)...Regret every time we book Carthay.

We ate there in December. The food, drinks, and service were great.

We ate there Feb 13.

Service was attentive, but as usual service is a little slow on mains. Took about 10 minutes from ordering for drinks to arrive. There was a long wait for mains ~45 minutes from ordering, as the kitchen seems to run assuming you will order appetizers.

Got the paella, I knew it wouldn't be "true" paella but the chicken was good, shrimp was meh flavor wise.

Partner got the gnocchi with short rib, he seemed happy with it.

Wow, we feel the exact opposite. It is always everyone’s favorite restaurant on property unless we are dining at Club 33.

I do wish they had rolls that weren’t “cheesy roles”. My wife does not like anything with heavy cheese.

I've only eaten at the lounge part outside, but loved it both times.

Food is good in both the lounge and the restaurant. Love sitting outside and watching the characters come out from the back. Service is always GREAT! Love the staff!!
