Which would you rather see come to Disney World? Let's help Disney with their market research.

Perhaps not a fair question. I voted for Cars land since we have seen how amazingly they did it at DCA and I would love to see that at WDW, however it could be the Avatar land is even more immersive and spectacular.

I'm not optimistic at this point on that happening though.

Cars land, no contest.:thumbsup2
I love the idea of having another Pixar attraction. I know I'm biased because my DS is currently obsessed with Cars, but I do think it would be more family friendly than Avatar land. Maybe they have a good plan to address this - I am just going by my 4 year old hasn't seen and is not going to see Avatar in the near future.
My DH, who likes Disney but isn't a nut like me, wanted to fly out to CA right away when he saw the videos of Cars land!!!:rotfl:

I voted Carsland. Avatar land doesn't interest me at all. I didn't care for the movie and I don't think it's going to stand the test of time and become a classic.

Since I hate the idea of Avatarland, I vote Carsland!

Now, the publicized theme of Avatarland I can get on board with (conservation and the like), but they can do that using "real" world examples far better than some fantasy planet. After all, what would work better to get people to think about those issues... their backyard, or some non-existant far-off moon?

I do agree that AK needs some expansion and traffic flow fixes and Carsland wouldn't work there (it'd be perfect for DHS, which also needs some expansion (especially in family rides) and traffic flow fixes (Sunset Blvd to Animation Courtyard for example)). So, in reality, it would be "NotAvatarland" in AK followed by Carsland in DHS.

While I don't mind the Indy/Star Wars sections of DHS, I really think Disney needs to put more focus back on their brands of stuff. A single M&G for their new movie just isn't going to cut it, sorry. The parks are built to advertise and bring to life the Disney classics (characters, movies, shorts, TV shows, etc). Now, I don't mean tossing Mickey ears on everything, but bringing it back in like by using themes, backgrounds, and stories from their more recent properties seems like the best idea.

Of course, if they do that, they won't have James Cameron giving them a bunch of money to do it..

I do SO want to walk through the forests of Pandora at night.

Avatar Land if they made it true to life...I think it would be amazing!:)
~QFT! I totally agree! AvatarLand will be fabulous! I can't wait to see what the Imagineers come up with! :yay: :goodvibes

~CarsLand looks awesome, but I'm not sure if there is enough land at DHS, to make it as "grand" as the one at DL.

~Me too, DeaverTex! That's the spirit!!! :goodvibes

Let's see... Disney property versus Cameron's property...hmmm...fun family movie versus preachy, anti-corporate diatribe...hmmm...

Hmmmm....

Cars Land it is!

Cars land it sounds cool . Plus my son is only 2 so I doubt he would be interested in avatar

Avatar land in AK first, then Cars land in HS. Current expansion at MK is geared to little kids. We need something that appeals to bigger kids and adults too. :3dglasses
