Carrying stuff in the parks

We're six weeks out from our trip and I'm just running through a few small details in my head and making a mental list of stuff we'll need to buy/organise before we go.

What do you all do about carrying stuff around the parks? We'll probably have a rucksack with snacks, water, raincoats (if we need them, hopefully not!) etc in.

If we all go on a ride do they have somewhere to leave bags before each ride, to collect afterwards?

Also we'd have stuff with us we wouldn't want to leave anywhere, money, ID, park tickets etc. We'd have to carry these on rides with us so I guess the safest option (if not the most fashionable) is going to be the dreaded bum bag or money belt??

I'm sure to these sort of questions the answers are available elsewhere but I know you all like answering them ;)

We take a backpack and just take it on the rides with us. On coasters I put it between my legs and put my legs through the straps.

I've never had a problem and can't think of a ride where you couldn't take a bag on.

We always take a buggy so the raincoats, water bottles etc. get left in the bottom of that (every ride hasd somewhere you can leave a buggy). The valuables I carry in a small handbag that fits across my shoulders.

In the past when the girls were little I have kept to a rucksack but now that they carry own stuff I just take a small bag with sun screen, camera and cheap poncho.

Never had a problem taking bags on rides.

Have a great time.

I normally take a cross body bag that has anything valuable in (plus the kitchen sink of course ;)), that way I can keep it on when I go on the rides and it just sits next to me. It means I can't forget to pick it up when I get off the ride. This trip DH had a rucksack which he put in the footwell although when he did the bigger rides I looked after it. At the parachutes you have boxes to put bags in while you ride but pretty much all the other rides you can take them on with you. :goodvibes

I've never had a problem taking bags on the rides, as another poster has said I just put it behind my legs and wrapped the straps round my ankles. I've taken shopping bags on too! One year I bought some cut glass horses in the castle that went for a trip round space mountain before making it back to the hotel so you shouldn't have a problem! :rotfl2:

Valuables I always carry in a cross body bag. :thumbsup2

Thanks folks, I just assumed you'd not be able to take bags on rides.

Thinking about it it may well not be an problem on the more extreme rides as my wife won't want to go on them :lmao:
