Hubby and I leave in a week and I have a question. We're flying and since it's just us, we're just both bringing a carry on bag. My husband has a bad back and uses a heating pad every night to keep it in check. Is this allowed on your carry on? I've looked on Delta and the TSA site and couldn't really find anything. I plan on calling Delta, but just wanted to know anyone's experience if something with a cord is allowed. Thanks!

I don't see why it would be a problem. People bring laptops with cords and then all the chargers for their hand-held devices. I carry-on my son's nebulizer and have never had a problem and that has a power cord too.

Good luck!

As long as it is not the gel kind you should be fine. I may take it out of the bag to go through the scanner though, just so they can see what it is and don't have to try and figure it out and hold up the line.

A heating pad is fine; unlikely you'll have your bag checked (although you never know). The main thing TSA lists is what is not allowed through security.

No, it's not the gel kind. We should be fine then. But I'll make sure he has it easily accessible in case it has to go through the scanner. Thanks guys!
