Carrie Underwood Cd, Buy it or skip it?

DD and I have tickets to see Kenny Chesney, and associates in concert this summer. DD knows alot of Kenny Chesney songs, but we are both pretty unfamilar with Carrie Underwood besides the song Jesus take the Wheel. Is the Cd worth picking up or just enjoy the concert without really knowing her songs? Thanks!

I just bought this CD a couple days ago....and I LOVE it I was really surprised.

She also sings the song Some Hearts and the one from AI ~ Inside Your Heaven.

We didn't buy it, but got it out from our local library to "test" it out. Only liked a couple of songs, so will go on itunes and buy those individual songs only.

Sugarland isnt on our tour stop in MI, I know they are on some of them. (Maybe it changed after that chick left?)

I am glad it is Carrie as I cannot stand Sugarland and would have shown up later just to miss them! Something about them just rubs me the wrong way.

I think it depends on how much you like Country music. I think it's pretty "country". I love the song "Jesus take the Wheel". The other songs are made well. I think it boils down to personal taste.

I downloaded it from MSN. I love it! And... I don't particularly care for country music!

hehe, that is probably one of my favorites too. And I'm not a big country person either, but this CD is very good.

You sound like me. I like it, if it's very neutral. Some of the songs are a bit twangy, but they're okay.

I also listen to Faith Hill. I'd put Carrie Underwood in the same category.

My very favorite line in the whole CD..."Right now, she's probly singing some white trash version of Shania karaoke" I don't know what that line cracks me up, but it does...lol
