Will be at the Fort Wilderness Campground from 5 NOV-8 NOV, and was wondering if I should make a reservation for the carriage ride. I am making this a special event for my darling G/F and darling 4yr old granddaughter....And help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.:)

I would make ressies.
I hate gett'n somewhere and then not being able to get into or not do something cause I didn't have a ressie.

You can always cancel the ressie if you don't need it.

I made reservations for Nov 7th. From what the CM indicated, they have a pretty open schedule. Seems as if it might be pretty easy to get a reservation on short notice.

I do have a question about the carriage rides - I'll be going with three other friends. I set up the time to be after dark with the plan of looking at any Christmas decorations that might be up. But will there be any decorations up at that time? Or would it be better to go before dark?

Thanks in advance.

And, BBPlayer - have a great time on your upcoming trip!

There are always some sort of decorations up.
Some of us don't need a specific holiday to 'Disney up' our campsites. Heck, I do it everywhere we go. Not just Disney.
I do think that it is just a bit early for the massive displays. I would expect that some of those would be 'In Progress'.
I would go after dark.

Just made my reservation for a carriage ride on Nov 6th at 630. My darling G/F will be totally surprised as she does not know that I am doing this. Thanks for all the information, I will definetely be giving a trip report for my stay. thanks everyone.
