After all that food, there was no room for desert, but The drink was very good. Sorry, I dont'remember the name, I as very busy with the shrimp...

Good to see I am not the only one that was not impressed with the motel. The Tropicana is nicer as well as the DLH. Great photos of the room and food....

we have stayed at almost every motel on that block of Harbor Blvd.

We stayed at Carousel Inn last February shortly after the remodel and I didnt care for it. They had just redone the floors and I didnt like for the bare floor. I know some of the carpets can be down right disgusting in motels but I didn"t like it. The plantation shutters were a nice touch but it was by far the smallest room we have ever stayed in. Way too tight for me and my two young boys..can't even imagine 4 adults in that cramped space.

There was a nice view of the park from the breakfast room but not worth it in my opinion.

Well, I am Back. It was great. The only bad thing was the Hotel. I didn't like it. The room was way too small.
For the dis members that are familiar with WDW, the room was smaller than POP, at least it felt much smaller. I checked for bedbugs. There were none, but the Boxspring was dirty. I didn't want to make a scene, plus they gave me the room 2 hour prior to check in, so I was really greatfull.

Of the seven nights, they didn't made my room for two days, even though I asked them to do it in the morning before I left, when it didnt work out,I asked one day prior, no luck, one they I called them at 5 pm, asking why they didn't do it, and they told me that the can go an "refresh" my room. I didn't pay to get it Refreshed, I payed for a clean room. Of course, no towels with a none done room.

I will try, or Tropicana or the Fairfield Inn that looks very nice from outside.

We stayed there a year ago and had the same problem. My DH really was unthrilled with the size of our room. There was no way to access the closet to put our clothes up, and not really any place to put our luggage. He did decide he liked the bed though. I found them too soft.

Our room was only cleaned twice or so during our week long stay. We had to ask for clean towels often and they even forgot to re-stock the coffee when they did clean. We were not given any reason when I asked why our room was not touched (not even to bring towels). We spilled water on one of the beds and asked for them to send up a different bedspread and we were going back the park. it was about 5ish pm. When we came back after the park closed about 9pm, nothing had been brought up. DH called again and one brought up.

We went back to Tropicana the last two mini trips and will not be back to Carousel.
