A nice lie in this morning, Reggie stays by the pool (he’s Reggie the Veggie again today) and we take the kids back to Epcot as they’re dying to do Test Track again! The Plan is to do TT then whip over to AK so Callum could ride Dinosaur – I think he feels he should seeing as the rest of us survived it.
Unfortunately the fast pass time for Test Track is after 3 o’clock and its about 12 at the mo, so we figure its not worth hopping to AK as the parks are so busy this week we’ll get over there and Dinosaur will be the same. The kids spend a lot of time in Innoventions and we spend a lot of money in Mouse gear!
The Universe Of Energy is open (never has been before when we’ve been here) so we thought that’d kill some time. What a lovely show, wasn’t overly impressed by the ongoing ‘jeopardy’ theme but thought the actual ride was great, it fulfilled some of the dinosaur need so we didn’t feel too short changed by not getting back to AK and the simulator film at the start wasn’t much short of Soarin’.
3 o’ clock finally gets here so we join the fastpass queue (still around 15 minutes!) and ride Test Track one last time. Stop to admire the photo and for the kids to admire the cars on display then we head back to The Movies. We’re meeting Jen_Uk and her husband Alex around 7:30 to go over to The Poly together for the Wishes Cruise.
A couple of hours to nap and for the kids to swim and we share another enormous ASMo pizza for dinner. We’re all ready for Wishes with our 12+ layers of clothing packed.
Meet Jen and Alex, they’re really lovely and we have a good chat on the way over to MK on the bus, decide to take the resort launch to the Poly which is probably a bit of a mistake as we’ll be spending more than an hour later on the freezing cold water!
A wander round the Poly – its fantastic, definitely on my list of places to stay and Callum buys a Stitch snowglobe in the shop, honestly the kid is Stitch mad!!
Check in for our cruise and our skipper is Deana who normally works over at the Fort Wilderness, Its really cold out there but we all huddle together and share the lovely big soft blankets provided.
The Electrical Water Pageant is on and we get a really good view, Its amazing to think its been running since the opening and there aren’t many people who even know it exists!
We sail right out to the contemporary and the FW before returning back to the front of the MK for a really good spot.
Wishes is of course breathtaking and we have a beautiful view, Its all over with too quickly and we head back to The Poly for hot chocolate to warm us through. Jen and Alex have gone back to the MK for EMH (party animals) but we’re all too tired and too cold. A nice hot choccie later and it’s the monorail again back to MK for the bus home.
The transportation is amazing and even this week when the parks are really busy we never have longer than about 20 minutes to wait for a bus.
A nice Baileys I think, for a change before I go to bed.
