Very sorry to hear this. I lost my sister last year to PHA just two months after she was diagnosed.

The service this morning was very nice. Carol's brother and sister both spoke and told great stories.

Before the service some nurses (or nurses in training...might have that wrong)...like 10 or 12 of them, came to the church to pay their respects.

Carol was loved and it was very evident today.

My family and I would like to extend our sincere thanks to our friends who were able to attend the memorial mass for Carol Bowling this past Friday in Folsom.

Services will be held for Carol in San Francisco at St. Cecilia Church, 2555 17th Avenue on the following dates:

Monday, March 25: Vigil Service at 7 pm.

Tuesday, March 26: Funeral mass at 11:00 am followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

We have found comfort in your continued outpouring of condolences, prayers, kind words of support, and your sharing memories of Carol. Thank you so much.

For many years, you our friends and DIS family, have poured out your love, prayers and pixie dust for my wife, Carol Bowling. I know you all share my family’s sadness in hearing that Carol passed away peacefully Tuesday morning. Her indomitable spirit and positive attitude carried her through a 10-year battle with Pulmonary Hypertension (PHA) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Her spirit and love will continue to live on in every life she touched.

Michael, I'm so sad to hear about your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope you feel the peace of God at this time and the assurance that you will see Carol again. God bless you.
