Carnation Plaza set to close....Oh no!

I was kind of hoping they would put this off for awhile. My wife and I planned on dancing the night away this summer one last time before the refurb.

Carnation Plaza Gardens to close 04/30/12.

The boundaries of Fantasyland will soon be expanded to take over the Carnation Plaza Gardens in order to create a new experience called Fantasy Faire. The village square will feature activites and entertainment, plus guests will be able to meet their favorite princesses.

At night, the stage will feature the same classic music and dancing that Carnation Plaza Gardens is famous for.

Fantasy Faire is scheduled to open Winter 2013.

To the left of the Castle, at the end of Mainstreet. It used to house a Ice Cream walk up window, with great shakes etc...
Nice large area to sit, and Ballroom dancing at night on the stage.
I'm sad to see it go too...

That is a good question, I'm not sure where in DL they would do it. I some possiblities but nothing obvious. I wonder if the stage can be open for the summer while work goes on around it.
