Carnation Cafe Yes or No?

We are thinking of going to the Carnation Cafe our last day and have Mickey Waffles. Would you recommend us doing this? Do you have to make reservations? What is the earliest you can get?

I really like the Carnation Cafe so I say yes! You don't have to make a Priority Seating, but you can. I like to just so I don't have to worry about waiting for a seat. Since Main Street opens earlier than the rest of the park I like to make an early PS and people watch Main Street as everyone waits for the rides to open. I'm usually finishing up my breakfast just after the rides open and then I can head right to them.

So since main street opens before the rest is the stores open as well? Do you know what the earliest you can make a reservation is? I will be calling at the 60 day mark to make a reservation dont want to spend time waiting around on our last day there.

I will second a recommendation for Carnation Cafe. We liked the food and atmosphere at CC so much on our first trip that I made two reservations for our most recent trip.

We haven't been there for breakfast, but it smelled wonderful as we walked past last week!

The earliest reservation they'll accept is the same time the park opens (I.e., park opens at 9am; earliest reservation you can make is 9am.

As pp said the earliest reservation you can make is when the park opens, however because mainstreet does open before the rest of the park you can usually be seated half an hour earlier than your reservation. We love to grab breakfast while everyone else is standing at rope drop, by the time we're done, the massive crowd has bolted and we can move freely to the rides we want to go to.
Just so you know, my answer is yes. Carnation cafe is quite yummy and I just love the oscar special or whatever it's called with the eggs and sausage and those amazing potatos. Dh gets the mickey waffles and they're very sweet but he loves them.

It can be, I suggest making a reservation it's better to be safe than sorry.
