What is this love of thistle? Wish I could answer it. While shopping at the nursery I find a new kind of thistle plant. This makes my third. It is called the Carlina Acaulis it's a perennial with silvery green leaves and a large bract flower. It's bloom time is July-August about the same time as the other thistle's bloom. Can't wait to see this flower.
