Hello everyone! I'm new here.

I'm comparing amenities and prices between staying at a Disney resort or staying off-site. Does anyone have experience with the Caribe Royale?

Their prices look fantastic and the pictures look great. I'm particularly interested in the shuttles. Are they timely? How often do they run? Wait times for them at the parks?

Any information you can give me on this resort is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

we stayed there for one night before our WDW vacation began (stayed at the Contemporary)....very much enjoyed it; clean rooms, good food in the restaurant and easy to get in and out...

I recently stayed at the Caribe for a conference. The resort is very nice, large pool, nice grounds. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I only ate at the quick service deli once but the food was good. The only shuttle I used was the Downtown Dsiney one and it was fine except it only had 2 departure times and one pickup time each day. The park shuttles were a little more frequent and left at specific times throughout the day, I think about 5-6 times for each of the Disney parks. They had a similar number of return times from the parks on a daily schedule.
