Caribe Royale vs. ASMu Fam Suite

We have an ASMu Fam Suite at a good rate of $140/nt for 2 nights in June before our AKV/THV stay. However I just got the Mousesavers newsletter with a great rate of $99/nt at Caribe Royale.

We've never stayed at either. Anyone with an opinion? Should we just stick with the Fam Suite or would you switch to the Caribe Royale and save the $80?

depends - are you driving - go with the cheaper

are you flying? are you using DME - then stay with ASMU.

if you are renting your own car - then go with Caribe Royale

I think Caribe Royal looks fantastic, but I've never stayed there. It is on my short list for a future trip. We decided to take advantage of the 4/3 deal this time and stay on-site. Keep in mind that if you stay offsite, you'll either need to pay for parking $12/day or use Caribe's scheduled shuttle to the parks which doesn't run all day. You may want to check their shuttle schedule to make sure it's in-line with your park schedule.

I think you'll find the pool nicer at Caribe, but that may not be of any importance to you. I can't remember if there are any resort fees at Caribe or parking fees, but you may want to double check that too. If so, it may not be any less expensive than the great deal you found on-site.
