Can anyone tell me reviews on the Caribe Royale? I am going at Easter and need to know if it is a decent hotel.

THANKS!

This is not an onsite Disney resort. You should post your question, or use the search feature under the Other Attractions in Orlando forum. Not sure if that's the exact name, but it's further down the list of forums here at the DIS.

"Orlando Hotels and Attractions."

We were there for 3 nights between this past Christmas and New Years. The hotel is lovely and the 1 BDR Suites are awesome! For the money, you really can't beat it. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great.

Now, having said that, the transportation to and from the parks is simply dreadful. The buses only run during certain times (and do NOT trust the schedules that the hotel gives you, confirm schedules with the drivers) and there is as much as a three hour gap between them. In addition, one bus may be providing service to all four parks so they are often over crowded and you are making multiple stops before you ever get to your park. There were even times when we were waiting for a bus at the park to come back to the hotel, and there were NO seats at all forcing us to wait for hour or more for another one. Not a good way to travel if you have children.

In addition, we found the food options way overpriced. There are other, cheaper options across the street from the hotel.

We stayed there twice and I agree with diznyfanatic

We had a car and it was a 5 minuite drive to WDW

Thanks guys! I too have a car and am driving to the parks if that is the case about the busses! What are the "hotels accross the street" that are better.

THANKS SO MUCH!

No, I meant there were other restaurant choices across the street. It's something like a Ponderosa but they even have a breakfast buffet that's really cheap. In addition, there is a convenience store just down the street so you could put stuff in your room refrigerator for breakast or quick lunches.

Have fun!
