At first, my family decided we were going to stay at the Caribbean. But me and my sister were looking at the Art of Aimation resort, which is opening this May (we're going in october). its a value resort, but it looks super cool. :goodvibes

My question is, if you had the choice, would you choose the Caribbean (moderate), or the Art of Animation (value).

My thing is, the Caribbean has more to offer, it being a moderate. but the art of animation looks super cool to stay at. BUT ive only seen the concept art.

I would definitly choose the Art of Animation. It looks so beautiful!

It really depends on what you're looking for. Personally, I have no opinion.

I really don't know what to tell you. If it were me, i'd take in consideration the convience of both resorts to the parks you visit the most. idk yet, but I would think the Art of Animation would be more crowded, saying it is the newest resort and its a value. This will probably mean more crowded bus stops. I've never stayed at Carribean Beach, but some of my family have and they really liked it. I would do whatever you and your family's prefrence is. They both have advantages, and you can't go wrong with either!

I'd totally go for Art of Animation. Even though we have a ton of DVC points, I love All-Star Movies, and this seems to essentially be a super version of ASM.

I would totally go with Caribbean Beach. The pool is incredibly cool and it's so pretty over there. The Art of Animation does look really cool but if you want to go to the food court or the bus stop you will have to walk a legit mile. It's like really far out from everything. But whatever you choose, I hope you have a great trip :)

Thanks for the help guys :) my family ended up choosing the caribbean this time around, because (1) art of animation just opened up, meaning it will most likely be very crowded (2) it being a value resort, there will be A LOT of kids (we stayed at a value resort our very 1st trip... we switched resorts halfway through the trip because of all the kids, and the bus ride/wait was torture.). thanks again for the help!! :) :thumbsup2

I havn't stayed at CBR but I have visited it and thought it looked real cool, AOA is new and I agree it looks really cool I would enjoy staying at either, but then again i would be more than happy to stay at every and all WDW resort

I felt the same way, about Animation, but I gave in knowing they're opening the resort in sections, only two will be open when I get there and the hotels are all suites and pretty pricey, so not many people are going until The Little Mermaid part opens up(standard rooms). Hopefully this helps anyone who is stuck between Animation and another resort.

:stitch:pooh:::MickeyMopluto:I would most definatly choose the art of imagination!(in my opion) It is a no brainer for me. First I love learning about animation and how to do it. I also like to learn to draw disney characters. But I DO NOT LIKE PIRATES which is mostly what the Caribbean resort is like.(sorry pirate fans)
