Yes. Fridges are standard in the room. Also hair dryers, full size ironing board and iron are also provided.

Do they make towel animals in the CBR guest rooms? I recently read a thread where members we discussing the whole 'not everyone gets a towel animal' and 'it depends on the resort you stay in'. Has anyone ever heard of this?

We were at CBR in December and got some washcloth animals - smaller than towel animals but just as cute.

How big are they? Small size, and where exactly are they located? Thanks!

Queen Be, we found bus transportation at CBR to be excellent, with very short waits, but we were there at a low attendance time (early December). There are taxis available at the Custom House but not at individual villages. We had no problems making an 8 AM PS at MK, there were buses running, but I have heard, as you did, that they may have discontinued those early runs. I would think that a rental car would give you access to MK an hour before opening. If safetymom doesn't have an answer about the early bus runs, you might have more luck posting this on the transportation board.

Cool, thanks. I hope I get one :flower:

Poohbear123, fridges are dorm sized - not the smallest ones I ever saw, but still small, maybe 2.5 or 3 cubic feet. Ours did not have a freezer compartment. There was a center removeable shelf, and storage in the door for cans and bottles. The fridge in our room was in a free-standing wooden cabinet next to the entertainment center - you wouldn't know there was a fridge in there unless you opened the door. I have heard varying reports on how cold they keep things. Ours didn't keep drinks very cold until I turned it all the way up to the highest setting, but others have said that their drinks froze on the highest setting. You may want to experiment to see how your fridge works.

I was just at the CBR for 5 nights and I did enjoy it. I was in Trinidad South though and the walk to the food was long. I would pay for a preferred location next time. It was very quiet where we were and that made things nice. The only disapointment was that I did not receive any towell animals. I think it is probably because I am an adult and was not traveling with children. It still would have been nice, I even left out props for them! Busses ran great, a few times we had to stand but it wasn't bad and most people were very generous with giving up seats for children or those who needed to sit. I would stay there again, but honestly probably wont. I have a goal to stay in every resort, so I think CSR is next!

Thanks, Jaysmom, I will post on that board also.

I stayed there in Trinidad South 2003 and it was a LONG Walk, but I will be staying at CBR again in Nov. I will pay extra for the preferred area. As far as towel animals, I didn't receive any at all until last Dec. and I stay ALONE all the time! :confused3 This was at POP Century too.

is it too late to call and put in a room request? we are planning on leaving wed night and have decided on a preferred location. can we call or fax still?
thanks,
mikewdw

hmmmm not sure what you are thinking(if you just want to request a specfic Island or want to upgrade!). The preferred locations cost more than the standrad rooms (water view/king rooms are also more). If you booked a room only reservation you can call up CRO (407-WDISNEY) and inquire about changing your current reservation to a preferred location(if it is available). I'm not sure how to go about it if you booked a package deal. Maybe someone else can help with that!

If you are referring to a preferred village at CBR it is an addtional $15 nightly for those locations. That would be Trinidad North and Martinique.

You can call reservations and have your requests noted. You can also ask again at check in.

we stayed at Martinique w/o paying any extra. We just called the week before we left home and that building was suggested when I talked to a CM. They put us in there. I never knew it was an extra cost building till I came back home. We were not charged any extra at all - we had already paid in full 45 days before leaving home and at check out there was no additional charges at all. So, you CAN get Martinique for no extra.

Stayed 4/22- 5/1/05
