Does anyone happen to know if the hot tub has "bubbles". Last year when we were there, there were no jets running and the water was too hot.

I will be taking lot of pictures when I am there this week. Is there anything in particular you want to see? I never go anywhere without my camera.

I'd like to see a photo from the parrotcay footbridge looking towards port royal. I'd also like to see a picture of what you as a Disney Verteran would consider to be a busy morning at the bus stop.I've really enjoyed your photo albumns. They helped me to make my decision for CBR. My family is leaving in about two weeks to go to WDW and they still have to decide on a hotel. They like Caribbean Beach but it is 133 dollars a night. They plan on spending most of the time away from the hotel. My mom is wondering whether they should just book a room in the All Stars or one of the DTD hotels at around 80 dollars a night and spend more on restaurants and souveneirs.

We were just there a week ago, and my sister had a terrible time with her cell phone in the room at Martinique. It would ring in the room, but she had to go outside to be able to talk. She has US Cellular. We also noticed a lot of other folks with cell phones either right outside their rooms, or wandering around outside when using them.

Plans are now finalized. Mom, dad and brother will be taking 1st trip to WDW Nov 15-21. They have booked reservations at CBR. They will be requesting Jamaica.

These questions have no doubt been asked and answered several times so I apologise in advance . I haven't the time or patience to go in search of the answers.

1. Do the CBR rooms have a hairdryer and is it in the bathroom?

2. Is there coffee facilities in all rooms?

3. If yes, is it ground or instant coffee?

4. Bathrooms - bath with overhead shower, or separate shower cubicle?

Hi...In answer to your questions.....

1. yes, they do have hairdryers. They are in the sink area right outside the bathroom.

2. Yes, there is a small coffee maker, but I would buy bottled water to brew it with if I were you, and your own brand of coffee. Florida water tastes yucky!

3. They are full sized bathtubs with overhead showers.

I have a coffee question too. Is the coffe in a Packet that you place in the machine, or is it loose coffee? Thanks!

Thank you safetymom. I guess I was wondering if the different buildings have different color themes inside of the rooms or if they are all the same. Are all the curio cabinets that hold the tv green? I remember seeing one photo somewhere that showed them a natural wood color. That might have been an old photo though. Have a great trip and I can't wait to read your trip report.

The rooms at CBR are all decorated the same. I check into CBR tomorrow. I can't wait. The weather is beautiful in Florida today. We are off to Kennedy Space Center today.

Are you the lady whos husband is the tattoo guy?
I think his name is george. When we were there in August
we had the chance to actually meet this guy and he is from PA also. Also I noticed you go down there from PA alot so I Put 1 and 1 together and thought Id ask.

He said that his family goes down once a month for a long weekend. I was so jealous when he said that. Once a month....man.
So many tattoos he says that he gets em when the script isnt even done for the movies yet...How I dont know.

Anyways just thohgt Id ask

Question for any/all:

Are there any kingsize beds in the Matinique building? I requested Martinique and I only want a room with 2 double beds. When I called to make sure I requested a 2 double bed room, the CM assured me having a kingsized bed was not even an option. (He was like, "Miss, you don't even need to worry about that b/c it's NOT an option" ...well excuse me) My guess is either he didn't know what he was talking about, or Martinique does not have king beds. In case they do give me a room with a king bed at check in, will it be easy to switch to a room with double beds? Maybe I should call and talk to a different CM?

I can't wait for my trip after being away for 6 years!!! (Definitely not my choice to be away so long, but I grew up and have a lot more say in the family! haha)
