pirate: It is just me and my wife no kids we are staying at cbr in may we asked for Trinidad south bld 39 38 or 35 hopeing it would be more peaceful away from the opr is this a mistake? :confused3 Or is there a diff. resort I should look at? first time on wdwp. :rolleyes1

Staying in Trinidad South is like its own little resort. It's very quiet there. But then I don't find any area of CBR that is noisy.

You might want to visit the CBR FAQ's listed below. I also have lots of pictures of CBR up on my www.idhal.com website listed below.

Welcome to the DIS.

I stayed in Jamaica that was very quiet also...I used the quiet pool and for most of the time I had it to myself! and it is notfar from the food court....

That "trick" has worked for dd16 and me! We prefer a quieter area. When we ask for a building as far away from the main building/food court, we always get it (cause everyone wants the closest buildings!), we have always gotten an upgraded view and we are always happy! This has worked at POFQ and POR and we're hoping it works in 3 weeks at CBR!!!!!!!!!!!!! :flower:

If you want seclusion, you picked the right building.

That is what we were looking for! how about the bus service from this area? I read in some books that the bus waits can be long at trindad south? I know on one route it is the last stop before it leaves the crb and the other route it is the 3RD stop and you have to go around the complex before you leave the crb? IS THERE ANYWAY TO TELL THE BUSES APART? THANK YOU ALL FOR ANSWERING MY ?"S :) :cheer2:

Please let me know how it goes at cbr we leave in 89 days! thanks. hpoe your trip goes well. :flower: :earboy2:

The buses go all to each village. The trick is getting into a building in Trinidad that is close enough to the bus stop. Work with the CM at check in and you'll be fine.

BTW, I think Jamaica was really nice...and quiet...and just far enough away from the main building to get away from the crowds but close enough for a short (and beautiful) walk to OPR for breakfast, snacks etc.

We were in Jamaica for our December trip and had a room in building 45 on the second floor overlooking the lagoon. It was a very short and pleasant walk over the footbridge to Old Port Royale, and we were still close to the bus stop. We found the location to be very quiet - I think the outside walkways help with that. I find that interior corridors just echo and amplify every sound and conversation. The bus service was very efficient - I don't think we ever waited more than ten minutes for whatever bus we wanted. The buses make a full loop around the resort, so I don't know why the wait at one village would be any longer than at another. The first stop does seem to vary - sometimes Jamaica was first and sometimes it wasn't - but I couldn't see that it ever made more than a few minutes difference. Paulie&Andie, each bus is clearly marked on the front and sides with its destination - you can't miss it. I know you'll have a great time.

I ended up calling disney and got a GREAT opp. Who lock me in a king N/s room with a River view BLD 7. POFQ. and I started a new thread called POFQ for 2 thanks again for all your help look foward to talking to you all over there. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :rolleyes1

We went to CBR in 2000, just the 2 of us and we were in Jamaica-very quiet and peaceful, yet not too far away. I would say you will have no problem getting a room farther away from everything. :)

I stayed there with my mom on one trip and we stayed in Trinadad south. It was really quiet. Also it had this courtyard that no one really used. It was great.

Stay there.. Its good!

We stayed in Martinique 26 one of the closest building to the food court and the main pool. It was quiet. We did not hear any noise.

You may request the furthest bldg away from the crowds, but if your neighboors are noisy and loud and have kids running back and forth passing your room, then it will not help no matter which area you choose.
