We have a 8:15am reservation at Ohana- what is the easiest way to get there this early in the morning?
Other ADR is at HS at 8:10am, thinking the bus is safe for that one? I've only stayed at WDW once so I have no concept of how often the buses leave and the approx time to allow to resorts & DTD.

Yes, if you intend to use a WDW bus to get there, you need to be on a bus (not just waiting for one, but ON one) by 7am. The bus will drop you at MK, then you must walk to the front gates and either take the boat to Poly (which will go to GF first, Poly is the second stop) and then you will walk from the dock, up to the main building, and up to the second floor; or, walk up to the Resort Monorail (the ramp to the far left as you approach the monorail station) and take that to the third stop (it will stop at the Contemporary and the Transportation/Ticket Center first). Total travel time of well over an hour, including walking times and waiting times.

Simplest way: Arrange for a taxi to meet you at your village at 7:45 or so - in about $19 and less than 20 minutes, you'll be at the Poly.

Slightly less simple way: Get to the Customs House/Lobby and take a taxi (they are always waiting there). To get to the lobby from your room, you need to either catch an Internal Resort Shuttle, or catch a bus that will be stopping at Barbados before it leaves the property. MK and DTD/Typhoon Lagoon buses stop at Barbados last, so if you see one of those then you can take it and get off at Barbados. Other park lines depend on where your room is as to whether you'll be able to get to Barbados or not on those. This involves a little bus wrangling in the beginning, but once you get to the lobby then there is no more complication.

As for making it to DHS - if you can be on a DHS bus by 7:45 or so, you'll make that one from there.

We will be leaving on Monday to CBR and I was wondering if they have installed the new cup system yet? If they have will they still be giving out cups for water?

We are planning on bringing cereal with us and wanted to get water cups to use as bowls.

2 more sleeps, can't wait.

We will be there tues - fri. DD18 and bff17(her 1st) and I only( no boys allowed!)

Kind of like traveling with snow white and rose red. One is brunette and one blonde!

I believe still old system here but I usually bring paper bowls(Dixie brand etc) with me for cereal. Concern will be getting a frig for milk. ( I don't need this time ds is the cereal eater).

:wave2: Looks we are getting some decent weather. When it is 95-100 it is too hot to be out during day. This will be perfect!:)

42 days until first trip to CBR and first time back to WDW in over 10 years!

If any of the recent posters could provide a fridge update (the good, the bad, or the ugly) upon your return, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks! And have a wonderful time!!

OR

Take the MK bus at 7am, ask the bus driver if he can drop you off. I have had luck with that. At the very least, you get dropped off at MK, take the monorail or the boat, whichever shows up first. I prefer the Monorail because I know the way to OHanas from there.

If it is not an EMH day at MK, I believe the boat doesn't begin running until later. It doesn't begin as early as the monorail, generally.

CBR is a great value! Can you believe my first disney resort stay was at CBR in April in 1996 and price (with passholder) for 8/13-16 is only 1$ more!

Can't wait for another magical stay. Wish you were there!

We will be there in a month also. Can't wait. :jumping1: Our first time at CBR!! I am also curious about the fridges, anyone who goes and can let us know we will be very, very grateful!!

Could anyone tell me where the nightly movies are shown at CBR? Is it near the main pool? Also, is there a pin trading board in the gift shop? Thanks so much :)

The movies are shown right next to the pool and right in front of OPR. There was a pin trading board in the gift shop last year.

Yes thete are now nightly movies (started about 2 years ago), and yes it's by the main pool. Not sure about pin trading. Our kids just started getting into it a little.

I'm so envious of all you short timers. I still have 3 months plus to get through and some days I don't think time moves at all. I know y'al will have a great time. I look forward to reading all about your adventures. I hope to see great pics too :goodvibes
