We just checked in and have a fridge in Martinique 23. We are very happy so far! Headed to Chef Mickey in just a couple of hours!

I called the refrigerator hotline. The person I spoke to did not sound promising. I told her we will be there mid November. She said the replacement is going as well as can be expected, and we can make a medical request for a refrigerator at this time. I don't need one for medical reasons so didn't reserve one. But it is not sounding like they are expecting them to all be replaced by then.

Can you please tell me the corner room number near the parking lot? We stayed in that room a few years ago and on our trip next year we want to get the exact same room

The corner rooms nearest are 4401 (first floor) and 4433 (second floor). Hope that helps!

Me too! We are going the 20-28th. I keep getting the Goofy error as well. Any luck?

No luck at all. Read on another board that CBR gets MB effective with mid-October ressies.

DH didn't want to wear one anyway!

Just switched from Pop to CBR after 90 minutes on the phone with disney reservations. CM told me that magic bands will be for guests checking in October 7th and later, which is posted on another thread regarding participating resorts for magic bands.

That's what I was told too. We are checking in on the 5th. We are missing free dining by three days and fp+ by two. Perfect timing, trip planner!! Oops, I guess that's me.

Just checked in yesterday, no fridges in either of our two rooms however we had no issue getting the credit. Room is clean and very nice. Staff have been super nice. Front desk confirmed the spring refurb. Also said they didn't have bands here yet but hoped to soon. Very happy to be here!

We checked in yesterday and we have a fridge. First time here and we are happy with our room. Corner room and plenty of space. The resort is really big. We feel like our building is deserted! There is no one around at all. Now, the pool on a Saturday afternoon is a different story!

We arrived in on the 14th. First floor in Barbados building 16. We have a fridge, but I've noticed a musty mildew smell from the window ac unit. Haven't complained about it yet, but am considering it. Dh and dd don't seem to notice it.

Since Barbados is close to the Custom House, you should walk over and talk with one of the supervisors about the smell. It's best to talk to someone face to face since the phone calls go to a central call system.

Hi all!

I'm new here, have been lurking today and reading up on CBR ready for our trip.

We travel on 27th September for 2 weeks, my 6th Florida trip and my boyfriend's first. We're both so excited, just wish it was the 27th today!!

We've paid for an upgrade to a King sized bed rather than 2 doubles.

Does anyone know if these are located in specific areas of the hotel or throughout all the buildings?

There are king bed rooms scattered throughout the resort so you could be placed in any of the standard rooms. The pirate rooms are all in Trinidad South and the villages of Trinidad North and part of Martinique are preferred.

Thank you, thought that would be the case but just wanted to check! We're both fine with walking so not overly fussed on where we're based, going to let fate decide!!

I joined up a year ago and found the people on here and incredible resource and REALLY nice people. I check in at CBR on October 18, and I also requested a King Room. I requested either Aruba or Jamaica, however, I really don't care where they put me. I run with my dog every day, so a 10-20 minute walk (I've never stayed at CBR before) won't cause me to blink.

Enjoy your vacation and don't be bashful with asking questions.

We were in Jamaica 4608 and it was also a corner room right by the parking lot and bus stop. Awesome location!

That's awesome!!! I'm staying at CBR from December 18th - 23rd; so excited to hear we might get magic bands!! I was admittedly jealous of the few people I saw wearing them in August. LoL

You are welcome! We've stayed in one of the furthest buildings from OPR (Barbados Bldg. 11) and our walk to OPR was just 7 minutes. Other walks from other areas of the resort were 2 to 5 minutes.

Hey Tom, the CBR thread is full of lots of info and nice folks. If you're used to walking/running, then the walks at the CBR won't be a problem at all. I can walk around the entire promenade in no time at all.
