Roll on May 23rd when we get back to paradise...its just taking too long to come..that is all..sigh

anyone have the link to advanced check in. I want to make sure my credit card is linked to my magic band.

I've done the online checkin twice but I never receive the email confirming my online checkin. I wonder if it has to do with my reservation being made with Orbitz? I made sure they had my correct email address.

I don't ever remember getting an email when I completed mine.

It is our first time staying at CBR and we are excited...i am staying with my sister, niece and nephew...we have enjoyed looking at any photos we can find and debating our building request...we were lucky enough to get free dining and cannot wait for our trip in November (11-21)...do they offer the hair wraps at the pool?...i know some hotels do...:goodvibes

We have stayed in moderates for the last four years, CSR 2x, POR - Royal Room, then back to CSR. We are debating on changing it up this year and staying at CBR, However, I have been spoiled with the sliding door separating the bathroom with the "bedroom" and the slightly larger room. How much light comes through the curtain?
How noisy is CBR? With it being the largest resort or so I have read, how does it compare to CSR in terms of quiet evenings/nights?
I love the villages and think I would really like to try out Barbados as I love Barbados. (Maybe I can get some bread fruit and a flying fish sandwich!) Just concerned that the smaller beds and light curtain will make the vacation less relaxing.

CBR has the largest rooms of all the moderates. CBR rooms are 340 sq. ft and the others are 314. It was the first one built and they scaled down the room size going forward.

Not much. My wife is a light sleeper and it was not an issue.

Out of all the resorts we have stayed (POR, POFQ, BC, All Stars), CBR has been the quietest.

We've never stayed at CSR, but we love how peaceful CBR is. It has such a laid back, relaxed feel to it.

Jamaica 45 is our favorite location. It is a 4-5 minute stroll across the bridge to OPR and the main pool.

We were, and still are, big fans of POR and POFQ. We had to switch to CBR for Free Dining a couple years ago and fell in love with it. We haven't been able to stay anywhere else our last 4 trips. It is our favorite moderate by far now.

First - Congrats and Enjoy! They do offer hair wraps by the pool. Can't remember the hours but they were there last week. A friend's daughter had it done and if I'm not mistaken, it was pricey. I think it was $48 and her hair is not long.
They also have caricatures inside during the evenings. DD has been wanting one for a long time and we were finally able to do it. A head and body, full color was $40 if I remember correctly.

Woohoo!! Got our MagicBands today! DH and kids still have no idea that we're heading to CBR. They think we're staying at POP again!
:cool1:

Are you flying? If I'm not imagining it (ok, so we had an overnight flight into MCO) I think POP and CBR now have different lines for DME. If this is the case, they'll probably figure it out before you get to the resort. In the past you'd be able to keep the surprise until you were right at CBR.

Regardless, have a great trip!:)

thanks for the hair wrap info...my niece wants to do it so badly...lol...she is 19 now but loved doing it when she was a little one...she is planning to do some Disney Bounding this trip also...should be lots of fun
:thumbsup2

Thank you for all the info. I had always read that CSR was largest since it was the convention center, so this is great to hear. Since you are a CBR pro :goodvibes - any queen beds coming? I will confess to being a starfish sleeper who has been known to kick people who get too close at night. :rolleyes1 Maybe my husband will just need to wear shin guards and :duck:.
