I think I recall, bring blankets right? I didn't want to due to luggage space, but I want to be warm too!
I was worried with the new blankets but was very comfortable. You can call housekeep for more instead if packing some.
Maybe if I have room in the car I'll have to bring my Keurig...
I plan on packing a box of the single serving non dairy flavored creamers that do not need to be refrigerated!does anyone know if they sell flavored coffee creamer in the shop?
Was definitely trying to convince the DH yesterday to buy a single serve keurig to bring to disney world....whenever i go out of town I miss my keurig, lol.

It's not coffee without creamerGood idea! I didnt even think of that.
Hi everyone! We just got back yesterday from our week's stay at CBR. It was our first time at CBR and both DH and I loved the resort. We had booked a King room and both of our online requests were met (Aruba/2nd floor). Got some pixie dust when our room was ready when we arrived at 10:30 a.m., was a beautiful corner room, and had a working fridge! Building 54 was a 2 minute walk to the bus stop and village pool and a 7 minute walk across the bridge to OPR.
As others have stated, the Nemo wallpaper border and bed strip were there. We were comfortable with the triple layer of sheet, thin polar fleece blanket, and white coverlet. However, it was almost 90 degrees. For those going in the cooler temps, I would suggest an extra blanket.
Room was in great shape but I can see where the resort might need touchups. We never ate in the food court but did have dinner in Shutters which was very good.
Taxis will pick you up at your building and you are connected to the cab service by calling the front desk.
Brought our own coffee pods and used spring water for the pots.
Never had any contact with CMs in the food court but EVERY other CM (bell service, check in, mousekeeping, groundskeepers, etc) ALWAYS had a friendly greeting and smile. We declined mousekeeping on a couple days and in those instances, they leave a bag hanging on your doorknob with clean towels, tissues, and extra toiletries.
One thing we both agree on - next time, we are packing our own tp!
Thanks for all the helpful advice!!
Hi All! Well, like many of you, I spent the days before my trip reading these posts...and getting worried. Refrigerators, busses, long walks....etc. We got back yesterday and had a great trip. We were there Wed-Sun, 9/25-9/29. We stayed in Jamaica (requested) 4443 and had a refrigerator. Other family was in 4444 and 4445 and did not have fridge. I guess it's hit or miss. We did request a different Jamaica building, but did not get it since the hotel was at 98% occupancy and we had requested rooms together. The walk over to the cup machines was about 5 minutes (having to account for a 5 year old boy who was lizard watching on the way). Having stayed at Port Orleans the last time, we did find it a bit of a hassle to go that far (yes, the 5 minute walk) for soda/coffee in the morning. We ended up sending the men on the trip for snack/breakfast and drinks and eating in the room because it was just too much time for our party of 15 to traipse to the eating area for a quick bite when we wanted to be at the parks by 8. Jamaica seemed to be a good location to grab a bus. We were the first stop and on our Magic Kingdom day we were the only stop to get on that bus since it filled up and had to go by the other stops. Many times at night we were the 3rd or 4th stop off the bus, but it wasn't really an issue. We did seem to have to wait awhile for busses in the morning (we did early hours 3 days in a row) and whatever the early park was for the day, seemed to have the least amount of bussesFor example, on Thursday, we were getting to Magic Kingdom for 8 a.m. open and there were 3 Animal Kingdom busses that came by. On Friday, when we wanted to be at the Animal Kingdom at 8 a.m., 3 Magic Kingdom busses came. Frustrating, but just telling you all so that you can be prepared. We would get to the busstop around 7:15 and often have to wait at least 15 minutes. Overall, my husband and I weren't sure we would return to the resort given the large size and really just spending all of our time at the park, the biggest thing for us would be being able to grab quick drinks in the a.m. and p.m., but....yesterday we spent the morning swimming (in multiple pools), at the "beach" and relaxing in the hammocks. If you have resort time built in, there really is so much to do on-site that it would be a fine place to stay. For a quick trip, I would think long and hard about staying there again (especially since we've already done it!)
What time are you checking in, Nina? I arrive at MCO at 10:52 --- usually the flight gets in 1/2 hour earlier, so I should be checking in by noon at latest and off to the MK!
Tom
Our Trip is in November and this is our first trip with our 2 year old son.
We have booked a King Bed room since he will be sleeping in the pack n play.
We already requested a fridge when we made the reservation.
Which building should we request?
Thanks!
