Thanks for the fridge update. It sounds like they are slowly but surely being replaced in all of the villages.

Don't be afraid at all! I've stayed at POP Century 3 times before staying at CBR for the first time last week. I really enjoyed POP and it is a compact resort, so I was interested in how I would feel about how much larger CBR is. I LOVED it!!!! It is gorgeous, the layout is bigger but easy to understand and Centertown/Old Port Royale was great.

I'm sure you will love CBR!

Just a couple of things to say. Just my two cents worth.

The size of Caribbean Beach is what makes it seem uncrowded even when it is fully booked.

I never book preferred or any room even close to OPR because I need to walk through Caribbean Cay at least every day.

CBR is the only Disney resort we stay at now.

Are there ice machines in each village? Or is the only place to get ice at OPR?

Absolutely no need to walk to OPR for ice. You'll find ice machines in each of the villages.

We had a very rough first night at CBR. Slow check in (did online), missing luggage, dead bug (huge) in shower! I hope the week goes smoother, really want to love it!

Uh oh! I hope that everything gets better. Did the luggage go missing at the resort or from the airport to the resort? Or did they even know?

I'm betting that bug was a Palmetto bug. They grow very big in the South.

Hope you got your luggage eventually!! What did you do about the dead bug?? At least it was dead!

Just used a tissue to flush it! Luggage was delivered to the wrong room. When I went down they tracked it and rushed it to our room. Maybe it was the room I requested but didn't get, lol.
Barbados is not bad, a walk to food but close to the bus.

Glad to hear that they got your luggage to you!

We've stayed in Barbados before and didn't think the walk was too bad. I liked the secluded feeling of that area. And, you're right, the bus stop seems so close in that village. Have a great time!

Does anyone know if distilled water is available for purchase at calypso's or at the food court? I've called a couple times and get and answer similar to "I think so". My husband uses a cpap. I really don't want to do a grocery delivery without a guaranteed fridge. Thanks!!

I know that they sell bottled water and I believe that there was water in the baby supplies but I'll see if I can find my pictures to see if it's distilled. Hopefully, the pic will have the water in it.
