What time do the buses roll out in the morning? Will it go early to a park if it's not EMH? Just wondered due to 8:00 am ressies at Epcot on a normal hours opening day. Thanks!!

They start at about 6:30. We were able to get to a 7:30 ADR at 'Ohana with time to spare.

<<<Actually you can get the washing machine/dryer sheets. They're much easier to travel with than either liquid or powder detergent. I bought a box before my last trip and just put a bunch in a plastic ziplock bag, they fit easily into my suitcase.>>>

My flight is arriving in Orlando around 4:30pm and don't expect to get to CBR until around 6:30pm.

I was trying to think about what to do when we get there. We don't have park hoppers for that day.

I'm assuming that we will be eating at the resort......but was thinking of going to the pool.

The quiet pools are open 24 hours. The Main pool, and hot tubs, are also open 24 hours. However, the slides and the splash area closed at 8PM back in October. I am not sure when they close in the Summer, but once the life guards go off duty the slides and splash area close.

I just wanted to give some love to CBR. We stayed there in June 2007 & loved it & most recent stayed there from 6/7-6/14 2012 & loved it again. There is nothing to worry about at this resort. Housekeeping was wonderful. We had a great room/bldg. Stayed at Jamaica Bldg 46 facing courtyard. so quiet! Loved the pool & I liked the bus stop area for Jamaica. Never had to walk too far from anything. CBR doesn't have my favorite food court out of the moderate resorts but we ate else where.

Just returned home yesterday from 9 nights at CBR. Had an amazing time at the resort again -- and the slides and splash area closed at 10pm when the life guards went off duty. Pools were open 24 hours as you mentioned though.

We went in 2009 -- I'm playing around on this site to feed my need to go back!

We stayed in a pirate room with our two young sons and loved it! If anyone is going for the pirate rooms with little boys, here is a fun idea. I went to some of our cheap-y stores locally -- Big Lots, Dollar Tree, Party City - etc. and put together huge and fabulous gift bags of pirate themed goodies. Chocolate gold coins, pirate hats, coloring books, plastic swords, even a PIRATE MICKEY stuffed plush animal from Walgreens, of all places!

I snuck into the room before the kids and put the bags on the table. The kids thought the goodie bags were a gift from Mickey and friends. They were a huge hit!

Also, I found a CD of Disney pirate music that we played every time we drove around the complex. It made it all very fun.

Lucky you. I'm jealous! The mugs are the same generic design that they have been for years now.

You know, sometimes you can get lucky and find some at yard sales. I've picked up one for the All Stars (generic for all 3 resorts I think....) and one for All Star Sports. My daughter is like why do you want those. I just think they are cool to have.

Hi all,

I know that this question has probably been answered somewhere in this thread, but it is 215 pages long....

Can anyone tell me when the last time Caribbean Beach Resort was renovated? I have stayed here a few times and I am thinking about booking a trip for September. I can't decide between CBR and CSR.
