Not all corner rooms are king-bed rooms. There are plenty of corner rooms that have two standard beds (I most recently stayed in Room #3340, a corner room in Trinidad North, that was NOT a king-bed room, we were there with our 2 kids).
What is the advantage to staying in a Corner Room?

I was the original poster asking about if all corner rooms were king size beds since I wanted to request a corner room with two beds. From what I have read..it just gives you more light and the only thing "missing" would be a full size mirror where the wall would be (replaced with a window). I love the light and would rather have the extra light with a corner room then a normal room. I think that is the only advantage. I know some folks have mentioned that it is just another way to have nosey people look into your room. But if I'm inthe room and the windows are open...there won't be anything to look at anyways. :thumbsup2 So, it's just a personal preferance to more sunlight. :cool1:

What times do they do the s'mores in the evenings? It is offered on all evenings or just certain ones? and where do they do it at? Thanks!!!

Even if you didn't book preferred, you'd be okay. I understand your concerns as we had them before our stay at CBR too. We absolutely loved it! I really don't understand the complaint that the resort is too big/spread out. From the fartherst room in the farthest building (Trinidad South) the walk is under 10 minutes to OPR and the Main Pool. And you have a very slim chance of getting put there because that is where the Pirate Themed Rooms are and you have to pay extra for those.

Have fun! I'm very jealous!

I was actually just going to ask this! So is the Trinidad South Building made oup of ALL pirate rooms?

I can only tell you where....on the beach just outside the pool area on the Trinidad North side of the pool
And if I remember correctly, it only roasted marshmallows, not smores

Gotcha....Marshmellows and not S'Mores.

Geez, 5 seems a bit early. All our ADR's are at 5:30...even the night we arrive and eat at shutters. Darn...I thought it would be something fun DS would enjoy. Thanks for the info!!!

CBR lovers! I need coffee help STAT!!!!

The coffeepots in the resort now have those pods, correct? I know they are Cuisinarts, not Keurig, and take a special kind. Is it possible (if I can find them) to bring reusable pods? And put our own coffee in them?

I am so psyched to get there (12 days!!!!) but having decent coffee--it's kind of stressing me out. ;) Any help is appreciated! Thanks!!

I have 3 questions.
1. We will have 2 adults and one 10 year old who wiggles around in bed a lot. The adults would be my daughter and I, so we do not want to sleep together lol. How do we deal with the full sized beds :rotfl: Someone gave me the idea of taking a twin blow up mattress, but I was wondering how heavy and big those are because we will be flying with only carry on bags ? Are the roll away beds $15.00 for your stay or $15.00 a night ?

2. Can you get the strawberry mango sunrise from the Banana Cabana without alcohol ?

3. I also wanted to know which is closer to OPR Martinique 25 or 26 ? We want to request a building that is close, I know we may not get it but it is worth a shot.

2. Can you get the strawberry mango sunrise from the Banana Cabana without alcohol ? No clue, if the ingredients for it are prior to alcohol possibly. Not a bartender XD

3. I also wanted to know which is closer to OPR Martinique 25 or 26 ? We want to request a building that is close, I know we may not get it but it is worth a shot.Depends on room location, 26 is a bit closer to OPR's bus stop while 25 is a bit closer to the building itself. Also depends on your room category. If you don't have preferred you're less likely to get those buildings (to be exact buildings 24-26 and 31-33). If you DO hav preferred then ask if they are available.

We were in room 2626 and were about 1 minute walk away from OPR. :goodvibes

Super excited, after totally regretting not renewing our passes, we have finally come to our senses :goodvibes This will be our first time staying at Carribean Beach.
Does anyone have any recent experience with the Pirate's cruise thing for kid's?? Thanks!

well, that's when we were out there. That's not to say they weren't still out there doing it at 8-9:00 p.m. We just were never out there any later than 6:00

depends where your room is located. if you look at the map, 26 as a whole might be (slightly) physically closer but it's pushed back a little, so if your room is on the street side of 26, you'll be further away than if you were in the water side of 25. Even still, you're probably talking a 1-2 minute difference.

Both buildings are close enough to OPR to make you happy. :)

My personal opinion is that Martinique 25 on the lagoon side is the best location on CBR property. Close to OPR and main pool and awesome view. Excellent nightly view of EPCOT fireworks from the beach in front of building. If you can somehow end up in one of those rooms I guarantee you will love it!

that's exactly what we had, 2nd floor to boot. The beach area with the hammocks were right in front of our room.

Yes, Trinidad South is ALL prirate rooms.

Actually, that's not necessarily true. I asked that question about two months ago and a DISer who just got back about 2 weeks prior told me he had a POTC themed room and there was a standard room right next door to him. I also asked a CM when I called to inquire and was told that there is a mix of standard and themed rooms in Trinidad South.

This was our deciding factor between CBR and PO (sorry, I get both PO's confused so I don't remember which one has the Royal themed rooms). My mom and brother are coming and they wanted a standard room, but we also wanted to be close together.
